The two 'main' members of the group are Canadian, the other two are Japanese. Funny thing is, the drummer has only a few years of messing-around experience, and the bass player they got completely drunk until he agreed to join the band.
Monkey Majik is a gaijin group that somehow is pretty well liked in Japan, they sing in both English and very good Japanese. They've also done music with some big names, including the Yoshida Brothers and even M-Flo.
Anyway, I like their music, it's all pretty mellow. And yeah, some songs are English, some are Jap, some are both. No wonder M-Flo likes them :osa3:
Anyway, if you want to listen just search 'monkey majik' on youtube and you'll get a playlist with a lot of their music.
Here's the song they did with M-Flo for an example, though a lot of their music is a bit more mellow.
Even if you're not interested, everyone loves M-Flo so watch it anyway.
