I want to make a few changes to the wording of Drayke's soul description. It does change "how it works" on the most technical level, as in it functions different, but should have no impact on it's abilities or how it works as an ability. He's still just as random, still just as hard to resonate with, and still... Drayke.

Changes within large sections are bolded for modding convenience, and others change a huge section or just add to a section. Nothing should actually change, but the details are much better ironed out.

History:

Drayke grew up in your average middle-class family. Well, other than himself, that is. As soon as he was past the age of crying at random intervals, his parents noticed his erratic moods. They put up with it for a few years, before the question of schooling came around. They decided to get him help.

For quite a while, Drayke had pediatricians, neurologists, and psychiatrists scratching their heads. The ladder of which began to prescribe usual mood stabilizers to the small child. They did nothing. His outbursts just remained completely random, and will for several years. It was quite difficult for his parents to put him through schooling, as was the experience difficult for him. Nothing in particular would set Drayke off, and he gained quite a reputation as a basket case. He was generally unpopular, and his classmates and teachers gave him a wide berth. He himself randomly made attempts to make friends, but they were mostly unsuccessful. It had a lot to due with the fact that everyone knew him as "the crazy bipolar kid". What made him seem even stranger was that, even if it was obvious that he overheard this, or saw people go out of their way to avoid him, he didn't seem to care.

Eventually, he found himself in an all-time low. He felt sick of the world, sick of the kids at school, sick of his own emotions jerking him around all the time. He knew that there was something strange about him. He wasn't a dumb kid; he brought in good grades. But it didn't take a 3.7 GPA to see that he didn't fit in, and that he didn't feel emotions like the other kids did. He knew that his parents didn't like sending him to school, and what they had to go through, no matter how hard it was for them, or how much the neighbors talked badly about them because of Drayke. All Drayke heard from them is that they loved him for who he was, and he felt sorry for them, all the pain he'd caused them. he thought it would be better if he just disappeared.

And, just like that, he did. Something stirred within the blood of his adolescent body, something that laid dormant in his father, and down the line to his father... the blood of a demon weapon. He took his weapon form, hidden from view for hours, much to his parent's dismay. The last hour of his emotional extreme involved his parents searching the house desperately for him. His parents were about to call the police to find their only child, only for him to appear again before their very eyes. His mother was freaking out, but his father smiled knowingly, and Drayke was sent to Shibusen.

To his parents, it all made sense. They called off the doctors who wanted to know just what was going on in Drayke's head. They dismissed his behavioral anomalies as some sort of "soul thing". They didn't bother looking any further. Drayke, on the other hand, just wanted to know what was wrong with him. He wanted to understand, not just dismiss it, WHY he had to be like this. Such a yearning for the truth permeated all of his emotions. After giving up the search for a while, he gave into distracting himself by having varying partners trying to wield him. It never ended well. There were several... incidents. Every time he thought he found a meister, there would be a strange training accident. He was then thought of less of a basket case and more of a cursed armament. He eventually talked to Dr. Stein about it.

Stein decided to analyze his soul wavelength. The prognosis wasn't good.

This is where Drayke found out that his soul was a Chaotic Soul, sometimes called a "Discordant Soul". Discordant souls are set up with many different soul wavelengths resonating as one. When they are all in synch, it produces a very bland Drayke, and that would be... weird, but it wouldn't explain anything at all. Unfortunately for Drayke, these soul wavelengths randomly begin to desynch, which causes his erratic mood changes, and sometimes many at a time functioning at different levels can alter his base personality to some extent. Not too much, but enough to be noticeable.

Since Stein wasn't going to go on kishin hunting sprees with Drayke, he was stuck waiting for his meister. Though, as his teacher, Stein offered to give him training that he needed to fight solo while he waited, and, later, Stein instructed him on how to use his wavelength directly. It was no soul menace, but it was passable as a decent attack.

He waited and waited, but no perfect meister came to his aid. His fighting skills that Stein taught him served him well; he managed to pass into the EAT class. His missions that he took were mostly failures. After a while, he'd had enough, and his volatile emotion that he was thrown into wasn't bringing forth his better judgement. He defected from Shibusen, the place that held nothing for him, and sought the power that had defeated him so many times in the past.

Technique Name: Chaotic Soul (passive)
Effects/Description: Drayke's soul is essentially a mess of wavelengths. Unless he had a partner that could constantly attempt to match his soul's constant shifting, it's unlikely that he'll be able to have a real technician.

Append to the end of combat style:

With his new partial weapon transformation, he can up his game drastically with a way to either grievously wound or finish off a powerful enemy. Although it is dangerous for him, if applied correctly, it is much more dangerous to the enemy. It would be fairly easy to determine which emotional state would be more or less liberal with this ability, but for a quick reference, in order of most reckless use to most deliberate, we have Happy, Anxious, Neutral, and Sad. Angry is a wild card; depending on the level of anger, he may use it constantly because he wants someone to get #rekt, but go even further and he may forget that he even has this ability. As for anxious's placement in the list, Anxious will use this ability as a defense. Because of its power, anxious Drayke will probably use it as a deterrent for people coming close.

Another thing to mention about his weapon form is that, not only is a bad resonance extremely dangerous, but even the most skilled swordsmen will have trouble with him, even on stable resonance. Since his blade is made of energy, it doesn't have mass (at least, not noticeably). This makes the weapon very un-balanced; if the blade weighs nothing, then it will be difficult to control for someone who is accustomed to having a balanced weapon, or simply a heavier weapon. This combined with the energy beam cross-guard make it incredibly risky. Since Drayke had some practice with this in his spare time so that he doesn't cut his own arm off, it is still a safety concern, even using it in short bursts as he is forced to now.
