I've certainly had to smile through the pain in the past. Keeping our chins up even though we are riven with sadness is just what we have to do sometimes. Losing well fought and worthwhile campaigns have featured many times in my life. Friday's outcome in the Referendum tore my heart out. I was truly gutted and saddened at our lost chance to lead our country into great times. I was unable to hide my sorrow and consequently apologise to anyone who shared my company throughout the night on Thursday. Read more here |
