I hate cp_castle4...why?

1.Too damn big
2.Too hard to navigate for the RED team.
3.Too wide open areas with too much advantages.

Does Degroot count? Can we get rid of that?

I'd probably give a few more weeks before even considering to take off maps, need a chance for people to get used to them.

I wish Valve would take Degroot off of the rotation because I know its a pain to take it off every update. I am liking the customs so far. Still haven't played them enough to have an opinion of the good and bad to each.

I would say the only map currently on the server that I don't enjoy is mangrove. And also degroot I suppose, but on the other hand I enjoy the fact that it causes others pain, so there's a silver lining. For medieval silliness, I've always preferred redfort anyway.

Esbe I don't mind Degroot itself, I do not like the melee aspect of TF2.

Degroot would be 35% more bearable if demoknights weren't the most powerful thing in there, and if melee hit detection worked.

As for custom maps, I rarely vote for them because I'm deathly afraid they'll kick everyone off. But maybe every month or so we could have a poll on the forum to see which map everyone wants taken out of the rotation? It, would give everyone a chance to play it, and decide if they love it or hate it.

Aqua is fine with a lower player count, but it gets too congested with more. It gets extremely hard for Blu to push though since the whole map is very narrow. I love the map, its just only good with a smaller player count.

The steel like map (cant remember name) I have played elsewhere, and I dont like it. Point C is terrible. 90% of the games I have played on that map, Blu can't capture C. Red has total height advantage and its hard to flank them too. If Blu can manage to mob up and blow Red away, then they have C for sure. I swear that C point is one of the worst designs I have ever seen. The E point is very difficult to capture too, and as someone said last night, Red just needs to spam stickies and mini sentries and its locked down. Sometimes the E point gets buggy and players slide around on it, and got nick named "the lubed point".
