I hope so. Not sure if they qualify for spec ops. I think I was told that only TK suits qualify for spec ops detachment, but for the 501st they should fall under TC classification. I was going to paint my TX to match the shadow troopers markings, but went red accents instead. Hopefully when I get my TC I will be brave enough to paint it to match the shadow trooper. |

I'm working to share some costumes with the Clonetrooper detachment (members would belong to both if they wish). I had some issues earlier and Albin thought for the time being that we should remain Stormtrooper-based vs Clone. But if enough people agree (and there are a lot), we may be including specialized (Special Operations-type) clones in the near future. MEPD resurgence lead Joe Musso has agreed to lobby the LCO on our behalf, should we wish it to happen. Oh, and that's a darned cool looking Clone! I'd love to see one done.

Well, I'm still waiting to get the parts in for my Storm Commando, so I'm not official yet, but my two cents on the issue are this: 1) All of the costume types in Ep's 4, 5, and 6 were largely (most almost entirely) based off the regular TK armor. It seems only logical that with as many variations of the clone as there are out there, it could be broken up easily into sub groupings. To put it in intelligent talk for all you smart folks out there, TK : TD, TX, et cetera :: Clonetrooper : Clone Commander, Clone Pilot, et cetera. 2) If they're going to keep clones entirely seperate from TK's, then they should do away with the TC designation and make a C_ designation, i.e. CT (clone trooper) CP (clone pilot) CC (clone commander) CX (clone specops), etc. But hey, I'm not even an official detachment member yet, and that's just my humble opinion on the subject. |

Yeah, we've been arguing the CT designation for almost a year. It needs to happen. Just need to get someone to make it canon.
