So what procedures do we take to get a prototype approved from the 501st for manufacturing? I like the concept drawings. Could be a few small changes but the armor in general is nice.

Are there any other references to the Phase II or the Phase III? It is difficult to see which mods would be needed
found some other pics of Phase I to Phase III

Alright I thought I'd try to break down this rig. I am going to work off of the Battlefronts captions, parts I don't mention seem to resemble normal ANH TK
Chest = TK with two restraining bolts on upper chest
Belt = Almost like a CW Clone belt
Shoulder Bells = Shorter than normal TK no ridge
Ab plate = clone ab plate
Thighs = matte strip down the side and on inside of thigh, thigh resemble clone thigh
shins = no sniper plate
Jet pack
Knees have the same restraining bolt things as on the chest
e-11 blaster
thermal det
Helmet= black frown, black tube stripes, light grey temple, black brow
Overall armor is a matte primer grey
Just my thoughts.
edit: parts

Probably going to get myself into trouble but I found this image referred to as a Phase 0 dark trooper.

Heh... I'm starting to fall this one, but I don't think I would make a good Phase 0, on the other hand, I'm going to talk to the wife see if I can get her into one. ;> She was considering building Sev but this one may work better.

Lets say for the sake of argument that she goes for it, I think the pics give us a good of what were looking at. What would be the next step in getting the Phase 0 an approved, obviously EU costume?

We would need some good front, back and side shots of the armor in game. Then build off those references. It's different enough, you'll probably need to do some extensive modding or just go scratch built.

After that you submit it with the references to the LMO and he makes the call. The more separate references you have from a variety of sources the better your chance is of getting it approved.

But even if it doesn't get approved, you still have a sweet costume!

Yea, either way it would be sweet... Could probably modify a storm trooper kit, for some of it, but the ab plate and belt do resemble clone armor. Good pics could be tough, unless force unleashed has a Phase 0 costume...

Having conflicts with the 64bit system?

I ought to grab a copy... I still have a 32 bit win XP on a couple computers.

Apparently, they were cyborg clones... so if we build one, we'll finally be able to add a clone trooper to our roster! MUAHAHAHAHA! :D

Oh yeah, we should probably just move it to the Dark Trooper forum when you're ready to build.
