If/when I get into the 501st, do I get in the Spec Ops Det automatically?

If so, are there any dues(fees)?

501st and Detachment membership is always free and we consider you already a member of the TX Detachment (just not "deployed") as you're still working towards putting together your costume. ;)

Tiffany, I've been thinking and I truely think the best thing to do if you want to become a TX is to re-sell your current costume for $550+ within your local Garrison and purchase the gloss black ABS kit for $450. I can easily point you in the right direction if you like.

You can spraypaint your TK to make a TX, but it will scratch through the paint when the parts clank as you walk. You'd end up painting it almost every time you trooped so the white doesn't show through.

I'm more thank willing to help you sell your suit. Let me know and I'll get the ball rolling for you. I'd love to see you stay a TX if you really want to.
