Thanks! I'm glad you like them. :D

Maybe after the holidays we can get back on to the card idea as a Detechment.

I'm sure everyone, just like me, is swamped with family, friends and lots and lots food.

Anyway, I am going to try a small run of my own card and see how this looks. (And I really want my own card! :D  )

Here is the very FINAL card front. ( Yeah, sure. whatever. )

I darken the gray a bit and pulled sown on the rust a bit more. Overall, I am very pleased with these.

LMK, if you see anything I should fix. The logos will have to do for now. The cards I am doing will be for me and a few friends so this will be a good "test". :D

LOL, I'll second that.

I am totally photoshop challenged, so I'd be looking for the template as well.

Well I've been playing in Photoshop again.

I sent off for eight test cards to see what they looked like. First four of the eight had bad spots in the print. Not too happy about that. Might have to find another printer and try them out.

I really do like the card I made, but I wanted to something else. I wanted something more of the feel of the detachment. Something "shadowy"! ;)

So, I stuck with black, red, grey and a bit of white. Here is what I have created this time! :D :D

Great job, I love it, only things is that you have to change the
"www.501stspecopsdet.com" to our actual WEB addy.
When are we going to have this one done?!?!?!?!?!?
(just a little short of patience LOL)

Well, I know my Photoshop skills are at the begiining stages but if you all need me to help with creating the cards I can see what I can do.

I don't know what kind of time this could take but I have the templates all I have to do is add pictures and the info.

I know the best pictures to use will be something with a sold back ground. I can trim each person out and put onto a different background (which I need to find some different ones. ;) ).
Heck I still need to get some new pics of my costume. This would make me get moving on that too!

Still need to figure out about the print issues and how to go about that.

But I would love to hear about what you guys have to say about the cards and any other ideas. I also want to stay within any 501st guidelines too. :D

I've been wanting to get a bit more involved with all things 501 so this might be my way of helping! :D

On, and I will fix the domain on the card. Do'h!

Here is another idea I had, might have said something about this before. I thought of a card I call a patch card. It's just a picture of our patch and on the back we could put some info about the detachment. This way we have something to pass out with our cards so kids can know a little more about us and what we are about.

Here is a sample....

I plan to have a much better pic of the patch soon. ;)

But this could later turn into a coin card and could have another card with the grey patch. This could give us an outlet to give more info about the detachment and our history with the 501st. :D :D

And yes, I do see the spelling mistakes. :P  :D
Put this together pretty fast.

I like it. :)

Just a suggestion: 501stSpecOps.com is our official Web Site URL (it has a link to our forums on it, but I need to make it more prominent), but I'll see if I can make the forum url: forums.501stSpecOps.com
