Just throwing out an idea to maybe help in the navaigation of them. Since some sections are getting a little jumbled. I was just wondering if there was a way to have sub-sections within the different sections? For example you click on the Stealth/Shadow or whatever Trooper board from the main menu. You would pull up the catagories pertaining to that costume. Like ...Armor, Blasters,Soft goods,Helmet,Painting,Boots and so on. I'm asking about this since it would make finding things alot faster for new and old members alike to get the info thier looking for. I dont know how much of a pain this would be Im not the IT guy. Hell, my girlfriend says I look like a chicken when Im typing at times. For everybody who started/takes care of the boards a big thanks and great job!! Im thankfull you have made the time in your lives so that we can all collectivley let our geek flags fly. Thanks |

Dunno if this board software will support it. I'm willing to look into it but can't promise anything. Been to Clonetroopers.net lately?

I was wondering if software was gonna be a problem. Dont get me wrong I'm not claiming this as an original idea. I'm not that clever
It just how the SW boards I'm on have it set up such as BSN,FISD,and the MEPD. Never been to the clone board have way to much on my plate now.
It would just be an easier way in my opinion to manage the different types of posts. Since some of the sub groups here have increased the amount and variety of thier content it can lead to a frustrating search. Whatever way you want to go is fine I'm just glad we have a Spec Ops board

Well, since we asked for voluntary donations, I'll be able to invest in some new software and I'll see what I can do. I agree things need to be organized better and I know our host is planning a software upgrade soon to different forum software. One thing I'll be able to do this week is get rid of the ads by upgrading.
I have a few days off - lemme see what I can accomplish to streamline things. Kev |

Hey Kev, once you've scouted out some board software, let me know what you have in mind for a new layout / design - I'd be willing to volunteer my services to help out the det. |

Sure thing. I suspect we'll get things rolling after the holidays and I'm open for ideas and help. |
