Hello folks,

Just a quick howdy from a soon-to-be Black Hole Trooper here in a cold, wet UK.

Currently trooping with the UK Garrison as a TK and soon to inaugurate my recently-cleared CX Utapau Shadow Trooper, I'm now moving on to my next project :-) Think the Black Hole Trooper is truly awesome, pretty evil and fairly scary, which suits me down to the ground!!

Armour should be with me in mid to late January, so hope to have it up and running sometime in the Spring of 2008.

I'm looking forward to bantering with you all and maybe even meeting some of you eventually. In the meantime, I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and all the best for 2008 in armour !

You did the Utapau Shadow Trooper??? I would love to see pics of that. My buddy, Thad, will be extremely jealous! He'd really like to do that costume. He just needs a little thing called a job! hehe

Welcome to the boards, my friend.

Can't claim to have "done" it, I'm afraid. It came up for sale from the incredibly talented guy who did and I jumped at it. We're more or less the same build, thank heaven.

Slightly off-topic, but here it is ...

Hope you like it :)

Pretty cool, I like that red lens especially. It almost looks like you would'nt be able to see through it.

Cheers! Welcome to the best detachment in the Legion, Chris. It is so exciting to wait for that box of armor. Keep us updated brother. :ph43r:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Gives me a nice warm, cozy feeling ;)

And really glad you all seem to like the Utapau Shadow Trooper. It's a wonderful costume and I'm greatly looking forward to trooping in it.

Also gagging to get my Black Hole Trooper armour kit so I can start putting it together. Still investigating options though re suppliers.

I do have one question though and would invite opinions: what do you all think of the MR Ltd Ed Black Hole Trooper helmet? Pretty rare and very expensive, so probably not an option anyway, but I'd still be interested to know your thoughts.

Anyway, it's just Christmas Day here, so Happy Christmas to all my new buddies in the Special Ops Detachment. I look forward to a long and rewarding acquaintance.

That MR bucket is really, really nice. Now having said that, if you have a normal sized noggin then you shouldn't have a problem, unlike me. :( But I have seen prices of $650 dollars a helmet. I, personally, couldn't wear a collector's item like that. Everytime I bumped something I would clinch my teeth. But again these are just my humble opinion and if you have the opportunity to get a Stealth MR bucket and money is no option then snag one bro. :P And take pics cause I would like to see one up close.

Oh and Merry Christmas to you too! It's already Christmas there? Don't tell me what I got. LOL

Welcome! I hope everything goes smoothly with your TX.
Nice Utapau Shadeow Trooper! I've been admiring P-Trax's talents on the Utapau armor on the Clonetroopers.net boards. Lookin' really good trooper!

Happy New Year!
