Pics please? I was under the impression that they were covered by the ABS small pieces. Can there also be two screws in the bottom of the ear cap, one for each half of the helmet?

Heres some pics. A shot of the bottom one. The screws dont hold anything on just decorative. Only one screw top and bottom or just one screw in the top if your gonna do a Hero style. (Hero-One screw,3 bump earcaps, 3 teeth, bubble lenses and lowered brow trim).

The screws on the ears are from a pack of wall switch plate cover screws from Lowes. Sanded down and repainted gloss black. The bottom screw is a countersunk wood screw that they sell in packs of 2 or 4. Ill see if I can get you a size on the bottom ones.

Measures 1 1/2 inches long. You might have to make a spacer due to the lack of thread at the top. Mine actually hold stuff so it was not a problem for mine. Just be sure to counter sink them (ears and bottom) so they are flush and youll be fine.

I was actually wondering, because the screws were so long, seemed unecessary, but if that is where you are connecting other things in your bucket, that makes sense. I will be making this mod to mine, but it will probably be the last thing.

Is there a screw on the underside of the dome right at the bottom of the ear cap (where it goes over the tube then meets the inside of your bucket)? I didn't realize that.

Darth Emphatic and anybody else interested check out Star Wars Helmets and you can grab alot of information in one place. Very helpful site for info on the original helmets as well as the new stuff.

I like their site, but always find it difficult to navigate. I wonder if its just me.
