I figure if they can do it, why can't we?????? pics soon to come!!!!!

DarthLuis I did one a while ago working on a second as we speak: Belt thread Check out FISD for a tutorial on how to make a belt. Not really hard. I went with the money clips on my O2 tank and didnt really like the look of them. That and they were a nightmare to drill thru to pop rivit even with a cobalt bit. The joy of spring steel. So I pulled them and replaced them with some aluminum bar stock. Looks better to me at least. If you do go with the money clips make sure you flatten them completly otherwise that little turn up that helps you put it on your belt will scratch the crap out of your backplate and will have an annoying tendencey to slip between the gap for the buttplate and back plate. Just my personal experence. |

You can go for the canvas belt. I do prefer the all shiny look of ABS but it is just my opinion. |

Crazas, I flip flop between the two looks. This is why im looking at a way to set it up so it can be switched back and forth between the two. I have some ideas just need to figure it out whats going to work the best. |

Don't get me wrong guys. I love working on my armor and putting some stuff (like pauldrons and mag pouches). I'm just telling you that I like the glossy look. About screen accuracy? We are not in the screen (not yet) So we need to be as close to the comics (and the soon to be out Force Unleashed game) Both, ABS or canvas are acceptable so there is no problem using either of 'em. P.S. The idea of a belt with canvas in one side and ABS in the other is interesting |
