ok, I think it's about time I started this thread. I haven't been very active here lately but that needs to change. So at this point I'm starting to gather my resources and get my source material together. Here is what Ihave so far...![]() ![]() ![]() Fromt he miniatures game.. I'm looking for these by the way if anyone knows where I can find a set... ![]() ![]() ![]() This is from X-wing Alliance. If anyone has this cutscene or knows where it is, please let me know. this is from one of the Star Wars games I don't have.. lol So far this is all I have, however I plan on using this to at least build a 3D model (or if anyone has a 3D model of the Zero-G Suit, please let me know) to build a small pepakura prototype o see how this thing will function. I'm open to any ideas to keep both the weight and the cost down.. LOL Thanks again! I'll keep this posted!! |

Always thought that was a unique trooper and it'd be very cool to see something done with it. Thanks for posting all the pics! Kev |

Agreed. It's just taking more time that I wanted to make it. There is no static prop here. I want this thing to move like a regular trooper (so not very much... LOL)... still in the design phases of this one.. we'll see where it goes. |

Like I said in the previous post. this is still in the design process and I am looking at figuring a way out to create the exoskeleton to be able to mount the armor. Divorce is has all but stopped the progresss at the moment as life is coming first.. But on a positive note, I now have a 2 car garage/workshop to work in and build this monster. Finally! Little bit at a time. I plan on starting gathering some materials sometime in January and would like to get a frame worked up. As it stands now, I am looking at debut at Celebration VI in 2 or 3 years. |
