Shadowtrooper; Is it possible to mod?

I have been thinking about this wonder and wondering if between a TK and Clone it would be possible to mod existing armor, adding resin pieces to do a Shadow Trooper. Good Reference pic below, but looking at the red variant in the second pic, it would appear that we could consider everything red as armor pieces (as far as the legs go) and the rest the under suit. Now I don't want to do this in red, it just seems like a good breakdown of what is armor and what is undersuit, which is hard to do with the ref pics that are out there.

So I wonder, looking at the legs, especially the thighs, if it would be possible to trim current TK thigh pieces to cut out what appears in red in the photo. Then use elastic on the inside of each thigh to hold the armor around the leg and hold it up the same way you would any TK or TX thigh.

The calf could be done the same way but it doesn't look like it would need additional support to stay on since it is not a complete cutout.

Now, there are clearly black portions in that photo that are indeed armor, such as the shoulders and arms, so it would a matter of created the correct shape, but most of the pieces seem pretty solid. What I mean by that is there is obvious overlay of pieces, but no deep divots like on the backside of TK forarm piece.

I also think it reasonable to say the chest is two pieces. No images seem to be definitive on this.

What do you guys think?

What exactly is that? It looks like you could take a bat suit and make it. Dunno why you'd want to go and ruin perfectly good shadow armor. The thighs would need to connect differently than TX thighs. Those look like the two black rectangles in the middle are pieces of undersuit coming through to lock it in place or something. And those thigh pieces are practically painted on, to get that look I can't see you having much movement. Plus the knee caps seem to be connected directly from the thighs to the shins. I will admit that (aside from my pre-made TX kit) that I am not a costume maker and would really have no idea how to go about making that. My 2 cents handed in though.

It's a shadowtrooper. Did you look at any of the threads in this section?

No, I assumed a Shadowtrooper was a TX. My fault. I also don't recall ever seeing that character anywhere.

It is a TX, but nobody has ever done one before and it would need to be built and passed by the LMO and Council for approval. It's not an easy process, but we'll help you along the way.

I wouldn't even do it for approval, but for fun. If it could get approved after that. That might be fun. This wont happen for quite a while. I can't afford another set of armor to even try this yet...

I foresee this happening way down the line (I still want to get my officer together first), but I think it would be a lot of fun.

I think it would be fun, though, what I visualize isn't always what comes out :$
