Cool. I grabbed some aluminum foil tape from the ventilation section of my local hardware store. I just wanted to make sure it didn't look too much like a pimp-trooper. Gives a nice metallic look in person. I pulled my old capt. midnight lenses out of my FX and am going to put them in this bucket.

My other helmet that I just have primed is going to be black/navy blue with flat dark green lenses. I'm also going to grab Navy blue under armor for it. It'll give me options.

So I finished this up. Thought some people might want to see the end result. I tore the old Capt midnight lenses out of my FX bucket and used em here. Still the best lenses I've ever worn. It's another nice CAP-W, in my opinion.

Everything looks good, though the over ear portion, doesn't look as finished as the rest. Are you still working on that portion? I like the metallic look on the grill, especially with mirrored lenses.

No, I just haven't quite developed that steady painting hand yet. As usual it'll get upgrades as I get more skilled and go back to redo things.

I wonder what it would like if you just that same metallic material (if it came in a larger sheet form) in that place

Silver is only approved for the teeth and lenses I think.

I think your right, but it would be an interesting look. It would cool to be able to have something that covered the area in the mirror look for non official events. That is, if you liked how it looked.

Oh yeah, for unofficial events, mirror the entire helmet if you'd like! :D

Now, that would interesting. Could you imagine a mirrored finish full set of armor. That is one I have never seen. I have no idea how you would actually do that.
