I am no expert on EIB, but I think that armor is very sharp looking. |

Hi guys, Okay, Lets see the blaster is pvc with resin parts. My BFG is all home made from bass wood that I carved and pvc pipe. The belt is a leather belt on the inside and I made a slip cover that is made from material that I used on the side gaps. I'm not sure of the type of material it was just shiny and I knew it would work for what I was doing. The side gaps are plastic signs cut down and material glued on the outside and felt on the inside. I used rivets on the back and velcro on the front to hold it on. It holds in place really nice. ![]() Here are some pictures of my BFG before paint. It still comes apart like that for storage and carrying it in a bag to troop with. I made it fit really tight so all the pieces slip together. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I still need to get my pouches but it looks cool with the TX. |

The suit looks great. SpecOps had a brand new DL, maybe he'll chime in on his thoughts of an EIB/Deployed program here. |

Thanks Terrell, Just trying to raise some brows over at the FISD. I'm not sure if they want to award a Honorary EIB or not but I thought my armor might have what it would take if it was white, so why not just because it's black. We'll see what come of it. This also give me a reason to post some finished pictures I've been meaning to get to since the holidays. Time has a way of getting away. |

My $.02 since I created the honorary EIB over there... I did it as a prop to you great folks here on SpecOps until such time as you decide to have your own formal program. Since it's great to see Stealth Trooper show-off threads on FISD, why not give kudos to the costume stand-outs showing how great the costume can be? There are some great costumes here after all

Hey good eye on the piece on the side. Yes it is from a tower, I needed something to set the side cover off. I'm not going for a full on copy of a DL-19 just a close enough version for a TX to carry. I have some other stuff i want to do to it just haven't gotten around to it. Daetrin, Hope you weren't offended by my posts here, I was really just razing. I really appreciate the opportunity to even try for a Honorary EIB. With out the FISD I wouldn't have gotten even close to the quality of build I did. I have raved and thanked the Troops In White many times. I also look forward to joining the ranks of FISD as soon as possible. Hopefully if nothing else maybe this can get the ball rolling over here for something similar . Because you are right, there are a lot of great armor builds over here and they should be noticed. |

Check the 501st members section, Obievon. Crazas has opened up a discussion about adding an EIB type program. -iz |
