The time has come to upgrade some parts on the TX set. I sold my FX helmet along with the shoulders, back & chest. The back and chest pieces are the particular ones that make me not like the whole FX/AM kit. In my opinion, those pieces look the most far away from screen look armor.

Here are the replacement pieces from CAP W.

They have all been properly trimmed now.

Here is a shoulder that has been primed and painted with two to three coats of Rustoleum Gloss Black. Wet sanded with 600 grit, then worked with 3200, 3600, 4000 & 6000 micro fiber polishing cloths.

Here is a portion of a shoulder piece that I polished with some Meguiar's Scratch X polish

Is hard to tell here but it is looking like it matches the FX ABS kit here

A couple shots of my completed TX armor upgrade. CAP W & FX black armor. I'm looking forward to my upcoming appearance at Comic Con 2010 in two weeks.

*Sorry for the crooked shots. Its a challenge to take pictures by yourself without the aid of a tripod :(
