RULE # 1: GRAMMAR
You're typing on a message board. You want people to understand what you're saying. Be sure to use proper sentence structure when you write. Also, be sure you're adding in punctuation and spacing where appropriate. Statements end with periods. Questions end with question marks. There's a space in between sentences. You don't want to look like an idiot, and we don't want you to make us look like idiots for allowing you to post that way! Please also put a paragraph break between thoughts.

RULE # 2: NO NECRO-POSTING
If you see a thread has been inactive for a while (weeks, even months)... don't reply to it. What that does is knock it all the way back up to the top of the forum. This confuses us and other visitors because we've forgotten about the thread, by now, and so it seems like there's this new thread with TONS of posts we need to go through! This is especially hard on moderators because we end up re-reading threads that we've already gone through! If you feel it's really important, don't be afraid to just start a new thread (with its own new discussion). Chances are, if you respond to an old one, we won't know what the heck you're talking about!

RULE # 3: "ESSENTIAL" POSTING
You don't need to have a post in every thread. When you first sign up, you may be tempted to go through every single thread and add in something to get your two cents in. Before you post, ask yourself... are you offering anything new to the conversation that hasn't come before? Are you providing information others may not know? If the answer is "no" to either of these questions, re-evaluate whether or not you should reply. Saying nothing other than "I agree" or "Yes" isn't really helping anyone. A post that is only one line long is not a post. If you don't have more than that to say, you don't have ANYTHING to say.

RULE # 4: ATTITUDE & EMPHASIS
Be respectful of your peers. There are people of many different nationalities, ethnicities, sexualities, etc. If someone's factually incorrect, don't be afraid to correct them... but be nice about it. In turn, don't be a jerk if someone corrects you on something. Believe it or not, you don't know everything there is to know! Your opinions must be expressed with civility.

RULE # 5: NO BOOTLEGGING
We do not condone bootlegging. We don't want to know where you got your ROM from. And any links posted will be immediatly deleted and the poster will recieve a weeks suspension. The only thing we really are allowing to "slide", would be MP3's[[or midi's]]. The only reason being is that the Soundtracks are hard to come by here in the U.S. The game is for sale and can easily be bought. So don't post your ISOs or ROMs here.

RULE # 6: PLUGGING / SPAMMING
Our forum is not a place for you to plug your site or spam anything specific. If something comes up in the normal routine of discussion, that's fine; don't come to the forum just to plug something, though. You'll get a warning, the thread will be locked, and if you do it again, you will be banned. Basically... this isn't a recruiting ground... it's our message board.

RULE # 7: AVATARS / SIGNATURES
Needless to say, no porn in your avatars, please. Keep them tasteful. Also, please keep sigs at a decent size. if a staff member finds yours too big they will ask for it to be changed, don't argue. Please keep images in signatures to a minimum, it slows down connection for other users who have slower internet connections. Which reminds me, when posting new images, please post a direct link to the image. Don't post the image in your topic.

RULE # 8: ACCOUNTS
You are to have but a single account on the forum. This keeps the database clean, and keeps everyone else free from confusion. If you have problems with your account (such as activation or password changes), please e-mail us and we will be happy to fix any problems. Multiple accounts will be immediately deleted.

RULE # 9: REMEMBER THE MODERATORS
Keep in mind that you are not a moderator. While a helpful and friendly reminders to some of our new members about certain posting habits is appreciated and welcomed, please do not go around continuously "enforcing" the rules on your own. Leave the moderation to the moderators, and the moderators alone.

RULE # 10: 7DaysLimit
Be sure to look through all of the resources available to you over on 7DaysLimit! We've got alot to offer. Chances are, you'll find something of use there!

RULE # 11: RULES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
These rules can be changed, added to, deleted, etc. at any time. The rules are not necessarily to be taken literally, and are always up to interpretation by the administrators and moderators, only. Arguing against this won't help your cause, trust me ^_~.

I would like to thank to staff over at DaizEX for setting up such good rules. So good, I used them as a basis of my rules.
