But I am certainly glad they didn't lose their memories or anything like that. I know thats what normally happens, but then again thats usually for wild digimon." "That's wonderful to hear," said Adelaide. "I couldn't imagine the heartache if you did lose your memories or otherwise had your data change." Even though Adelaide and Maya had not known each other long, Adelaide knew Maya would be devastated if something happened to her, and even more so if it had resulted in Adelaide forgetting her. That seemed to fly in the face of the Red Digizoid bond that formed between human and digimon, yet it could happen, couldn't it? What could be worse... than to love someone, but for them to look back without even knowing who you are? "And I guess you guys are just stubborn and cool like that," Maya glanced to the collective rookie forms and winked at them. "To not leave Harley even when the going gets tough." She smiled, but then tilted her head. "I haven't really met any wild Digimon yet though... what are they like?" "Similar to Earth animals, sort of," explained Adelaide. "They just function on instinct. Most of the time they're easy enough to chase off, unless they decide you'd make a good meal..." |

"Yeah, or unless they're really evil," Harley said. "Strong evil digimon are bad news, at least until you get strong enough to defeat them. We'll be back to that point soon hopefully, and I'm sure you guys will get there too." (Probably should start wrapping it up soon so we can get our DP points  )

(That works XD I wondered how long they could keep busy just chatting about whatever...) Adelaide smiled. "I rather hope you're right, Harley." Leisure time with Maya was fun, Maya's hobbies were even more interesting. But there would be something satisfying about triumphing over some evil, trouble causing Digimon by Maya's side. "Anyway, we appreciate the advice, food, and most of all your company," The Black Gabumon nodded to each of the four opposite her in turn, her lips in a friendly smile, showing the tips of her teeth. "There's a place across town Maya wanted to show me. I think we'd best move on before the day gets too old." Though she didn't show any sign of it, Adelaide felt a little flicker of mild ire for her tamer's late rising. The Black Gabumon didn't like to sleep in, it felt like a wasted day. "Oh, yeah!" Maya clapped a hand to her forehead. "I forgot all about that..." she said sheepishly, before dismissing the feeling with a shrug. "We should hang out some time, you guys," she said, smiling at Harley and her partners. "And I wouldn't mind meeting your hubby." |

"Sounds good. You'd probably find us hanging around here or close by. Or you might spot Kora trying to raid a gorcery store or something," Harley said. "I would never!" Harley giggled and said. "Nice meeting you guys. Guess we'll see you later then. For now we better head home." |

(That was fun :3) Adelaide bowed and turned away, a spring in the Black Gabumon's step as she departed. "Bye guys, take care!" Maya parted with a wave, and hurried to catch up to her partner. The meeting had been thought-provoking and informative for both of them, and the back of Maya's mind was already looking forward to their next meeting. Maybe I should make one of those headbands for her, I bet she'd like that. Adelaide meanwhile had been intrigued by the experience of the others, even though their current abilities might not have been that much higher than her own due to rebirth. /end |
