Creating cool backgrounds

1. Make a new image (I used 450x120)
2. Set the background color as black
3. Make a new layer and import some brushes (I'm using abstract)
4. Change the color to white and brush a few times
5. Make a new layer and color black
6. Keep making new layers and switching between black and white until you have a good background
7. Make a new layer on top and fill it with a color you want the signature to be. Put it as soft light and now you got color (I'll use green)
8. Merge all the layers starting with the bg first then the color last

Those are pretty good, the top one could have used a little more color where its black in the top left. I do like the second and third ones though, really cool. Try it now using like 5 brushes in one signature.

My current signature was actually made whilst I was experimenting, trying to make the ones you make Slay. It doesn't use the abstract brush set, which I realised later I need to make your type.

Try experimantng with different sets of brushes, too. Use like, 3 or 4 grunge, 2 or 3 abstract, and some of the ones that came with Photoshop. That's what I do.
