k here goes.

Silence stepped into the raging wind, the sand whipping up and caressing her soft skin. She hated this planet, hated it. Despised it with every fiber of her being and soul. Still, she had agreed to be here, so here was was. Anger and Peace hung lightly on her belt, the Force moving about her like a cool river.

"Saphira Striker, come to the challenge, you vampire." She smiled.

"We know far to much of each other, or rather I of you. Well, know more of me now, this is the place of my bane. The origin of my scars."

Of all the cursed places to choose a meeting..

Saphira grumbled as she steped off her ship intot he hot sands. ALready she was beyond warm, even with the cloak that wrapped tightly across her. She lowered her hood despit the suns glare and looked into the eyes of her opponent.

"How would you know I am a Vampire?"

She stated dryly, disgarding her outter robe as the wind picked up. She moved a gloved hand into her face to block the sun.

"Place of your bane you say.. how trivial.."

"It is the truth Striker. I was enslaved here for years. Raped, beaten, tortured beyond mental capacity to withstand, and the like. I hate this planet." The sun didn't affect her nearly as much as it affected Saphire, she had grown used to it by now.

"And, let us just say, my senses alerted me to you blood lust...."

They alerted me to all of you lust, not just the lust you have of blood

Saphira listened darkly as the wind carryied her voice over her and beyond. Yes, they had much in common... but Saphira was a Sith now, and more then just the lover of Valec.

"Really now..."

'How much do you know of that which I lust for..'

She finished to her mentally as she crossed her hands over her chest.

"Power. Blood. Sexual fullfillment. Take your pick." She smiled.

"Aside from Valec, the destruction of men. Power, Self control." Her smile faded.

"Love."

The mention of Vaelc perked her head up slightly. So the girl was guessing right. The mention of love was a strange word.

"Valec is none of your concern... and why do you mention love..?"

"I can feel it. You love him. You want him to love you, more than you want his power, more than you want his sex. You desire his love. His affection, his care. You desire it, and make no mistake. It is yours."

Her words struck her deep as with a hot poker. The wind blew harder and then stopped as she lowered her hand to her weapon.

"Perhaps I do... why would you care? Is this what you have called me here for?" SHe snapped sharply.

Silence smiled when Saphira reached for her weapon. She shook her cloak off and threw it aside, exposing her pale skin to the Tatooine suns. Her black shimmersilk shirt absorbed the sun, making her get hot quickly. Her smile darkened. It was just like the old days, fighting in the sands with Prue. She pulled her lightsaber from her belt and held it in her hand, finger hanging above the ignition switch.

"Actually, I asked you here so I could fight you. I am in need of a good spar. Why not be here, on the most testing of grounds, to battle both your evil and mine?"

Saphira lowered her eyes to small slits as she took her lightsaber into her hand. Thumbing the switch the brilliant red blade shot out with a snap hiss, illiumnating itself in the glow of the sun.

"So be it then.."

No sooner did she finish her sentence that the Sith struck with a force push to send her off balance a few feet as she rushed in with a vertical cute to her left side.

Silence ignited her blade when Saphira pulled hers from her belt. She embraced the energy of the Force push Saphira launched at her, allowing it to push her back. She deflected Saphira's slash easily, allowing the two blades to clash and broke away. She took a step back.

"Valec is my business Striker. He may one day hound my death. That makes him my concern." Her hands tightened on her hilt, the blood red of the blade coloring her skin with its light.

"I care because we have much in common, you and I. Something similar to what happened to you, happened to me. Though in agreeably less time. It was no less painful. I too embraced my darkness, but I am not nearly dark enough." She smiled.

"Now, that we have established i know the basic workings of a blade, challenge me."
