OOC: I take it you wrapped yourself around me? In particular, my head? IC: Cinaed suddenly focused all his reserve into his Hauringu Kobura, his body becoming like a lightning bolt as the energy suddenly transferred from the Echani to the Polydroxol, instantly spiking the metal's temperature to at least 300 degrees Kelvin, more than enough to boil it. But just as quickly, he followed through with a devastating Force explosion, a trick he had picked up from another Echani during a fight on Corellia. With enough kinetic force exploding from his body to tear the polydroxol's boiling form apart, Cinaed followed with a final burst of Force power as he leapt into the air, landing on a short building to the side. The sudden conjunction of Force techniques would normally leave Cinaed writhing, however with the added power of the Amulet and swords, the force flowed easier through him. Already his body was charging up a final Hauringu Kobura, one that would turn the Polydroxol into nothing more than a non-sentient gas. |

((OOC: *nods*)) The combined techniques that Cinaed had used on Mercury had sent him scattering in all directions, his existence threatening to completely fall apart but the polydroxol was stronger than that. Hour upon hour he had spent his younger days extending himself and pulling back together. Despite being in droplets on the cool wet ground Mercury 'pulled in' and collected himself into a small puddle of Hg. Soil had mixed with much of himself but it was no matter, it would only add to his mass. Moving about like an octupus in water the polydroxol went about gathering all of himself as well as picking up the vibroblade he had dropped. While his mass returned his voice grew louder, "Had I been non-living that wasteful outburst may have succeeded." Mercury sounded like he was talking under water. |

Cinaed smiled from his position above the building, electricity sparking from his body against the dark of night. "Oh, but I assure you it did succeed," he replied cooly. "I knew it would not kill you. I can see your soul with these eyes; reading the list of what you may find fatal is but a small feat." Cinaed bent at the knees, preparing himself as his Force reserves began to recover. "I'm going to offer you one last chance for peace." Cinaed said as he reached over his shoulders, drawing the two Sith swords on his back. With the sound of metal on metal, they slid from their sheaths, the serated edges matching the glyphs that covered them. "Want to take it?" |

"There is no peace," Mercury responded and he shifted into a vaguely human shape, the vibroblade sliding out to take its place at the end of one arm. He focused, narrowing his thoughts on his consistency and the position of his opponent. The polydroxol felt confident enough, whatever happened would not matter--Cinaed would be a pleasurable competitor, he already had been. |

Cinaed smiled. Oh, how he enjoyed a challenge. "Then we fight as warriors," he said as he flourished both of the swords through his fingers. A moment of tension passed through the space and time between them, and then Cinaed took action. Rocketed into the air from his position like a thrown grenade, he came down upon the Polydroxol like a bolt of lightning, his left handed sword ready to defend and his right handed sword lashing out in a slice that would cut clear the head from the Polydroxol's formed shoulders. |

His blade slashed through the head of the polydroxol but he simply brought it back be extending himself to where it tumbled. Retracting the blade back into himself Mercury wrapped himself around the hilt of the blade that Cinaed had just used. Finding the mans hand Mercury quickly brought his blade out, active and humming, on an unprotected part of Cinaed's hand. As he did this he also brought himself in around Cinaed, not close enough to touch him but it would have made a clausterphobic scream. He had made a cylinder shape around Cinaed, closing the space above the mans head. Using the cold weather and his focus Mercury solidified himself. |

Cinaed retracted his right hand immediately, careful not to let it be caught by the Polydroxol. Cinaed watched keenly as it once again reformed its head, learning with every motion it made. His eyes followed as the vibroblade tore through the air his hand had earlier preoccupied. The Force imbued swords whipped around, catching an eerie glow in the low light. And then, he quickly snapped the left one forward, utilyzing everybit of his superb Echani dexterity and reflexes. In a split second, the hilt of the vibrosword would be disconnected from the blade, the generator that caused it to vibrate at sonic speeds trapped with the blade, forcing it remain on. This would render the sword unusable by the Polydroxol, as the vibrating blade would not be able to be touched without ripping apart the tendril that carried it. Cinaed's watched carefully, waiting for its next move. |

The polydroxol dropped the blade, not at all bothered that the item had been broken. Mercury preferred to use his hands--or his body rather. Mercury squeezed in close around Cinaed, pressure inside of the closed cylinder he had made building. Another method Mercury had used in the past to deprive his prey of oxygen--it took longer but the polydroxol had time. |

Cinaeds swords began to hum as they too began to vibrate with sonic speed. Setting his right foot firmly on the ground, his left pumped him around in a clockwise, graceful spinning movement that reflected the lifetime of training and Echani grace that he contained, however, the devastating whirlwind was increasingly deadly. Withith little more than a tension of muscles, the blades hidden in his forarms extended to their full length, their generators activating at they too began to hum. Wielding a sword sword in both hands, both arms extended by extra vibroblades, all was left were the blades in the tips of his boots, each a few inches long, Though smaller, they were very effective. Using the Force to augment his strength and speed, he leapt in an acrobatic Desert Panther movement, ahis arms lashing out gracefully, his feet kicking out powerfully. By the time he had once again landed, the Polydroxol had been skewered, forced to fall away from him. "That won't work on me," He said calmly as awaited another motion keenly from the Polydroxol. His eyes alive with the Kontoueiseki, he was unworried. He may not know any easy way to kill it, but it surely enough would not kill him any easier. |

"Possibly," the polydroxol collected himself, rising upwards and creating two arms, his shoulders shook in silent laughter, "My intentions are know, lets see yours." Mercury had few emotions. He could feel pain, but it came through as pleasure. He rarely felt anger although Mercury is violent and sadistic by nature. His actions come from a drive to feel. Thus his addiction to deprivation, drugs, murder, expressive and unexpected acts became a need as they fed that drive to feel. The polydroxol shifted forwards awaiting the mans next move. All the while holding himself in check and once more creating a feeling that he enjoyed--although he enjoyed acting out much more. In behind him the clouds gathered in a dark blanket, a boom of thunder shaking the ground. |

Cinaed smirked at the anamaly between the Polydroxol's actions and words. "Your intention is clear; as I have made mine," he said lowly as the electricity sparking around him began to intensify, readying itself for action. "You intend to kill me, and I intend to live. "And so, my goal can be completed by walking away. So, tell me, why should I go out of my way to attack you if you're not going to try and kill me?" He asked, quirking his head to the side, slightly. "What use do you find in waiting for me to attack? Or is it that you've run dry of your own? "Ah, that's it. You don't know what to do next. You're biding time, hoping you can catch me making a mistake so you can seize that opertunity." Cinaed chuckled lowly, his brilliant kaleidoscopic eyes watching the Polydroxol closely. "I've already seen the end of this fight with my Kontoueiseki, and I'll give you this little heads up: I won't make such a mistake." With that, his left hand lifted forward, and a sudden discharge of electromagenetic energy shot from it with enough power to not only blast the Polydroxol away, but to also tear it apart in a torrential storm of magnetic force. |

The polydroxol only laughed in response, splintering into echoeing laughter as tiny balls of mercury shot in every direction. This man made little sense to Mercury, wasn't it obvious that fragmenting him was not killing him? The balls collected in a circle around Cinaed, clinging to him and spreading all around, each mercury fragment connecting to another as it moved. Each fragment seeked out seems in his armour, ways of getting to his skin. |

Cinaed smirked again as the hundreds of mercury balls broke out in an attempt to surround him; the Polydroxol had fallen into his trap. With them so close, and in such small amounts, they were nothing for his Hauringu Kobura. The electricity sparked again, and in a small explosion of devastatingly hot electrical energy, the mercury touching him was completely evaporated; however there was still much left that was not, however a significant amount of the Polydroxol's mass was now mingling with the air, and withing minutes would be spread so far across this planet that not even the strongest of consciousness could ever hope to hold connected the mind. "As a whole, it's hard to summon enough electricity to take you out in a single hit; however as tiny pieces of a whole, it's easier to destroy you." Cinaed's body could feel the warmth, however his armour took the brunt of the heat as it was ment to. "Though, with my Kontoueiseki, I can see that you're already beginning to regenerate; however, not quickly enough for it to effec our battle at all. So, what will your next move be?" He inquired as he sheathed both swords over his shoulders. |
