To say he did not like the sound the crowd made when he stepped into the arena would be a blatent lie. This is what he lived for. When he thought back on it, it did not make sense, but since the death of his mother, what seemed like a millenia ago, he had created layers and layers over himself, to protect himself, desensitize himself. Maybe this was a side-effect of his most used and most renown facade, Cinaed the Arrogant. There was truly no better way to put it, and he came into full-bloom the moment Cinaed saw the Rattataki sky, his ears took in the crowd, amusing him, enthusing him. His lungs filled with anticipation. His teacher, Sceleris had spoken about only feeling alive when death creeped closer. It was the honarary Sith Lord's disconnection to life in a spiritual sense that allowed him to unlock the higher levels of the fabled Kyokeimyaku.

Cinaed never felt that way when fighting. Of course, he became exhilerated when an opponent is able to fool his Kontoueiseki, but it was different. Of course, he would willingly throw himself into any battle for that exhileration, but he did not live only to feel like he could possibly die in the next moment. It was complicated, to say the least. Exhaling, he felt a different type of exhileration, the exhileration of the crowd. It would seem that his true self and his arrogant facade have bled through, to a certain extent. He let himself enjoy it, but noted that he would have to fix this.

When he came out of the dark hallway, the roar hit in full blast. This crowd had grown somewhat familiar with him, but he knew that what they really wanted was to see some bones break, see some faces get smashed, whether it was he or his opponent who was winning. But he expected that they expected him to win, frankly. He had not lost one battle in this arena so since his first time here. Despite his young age, he had become well-renown in this arena.

He was dressed regally in a long red torso-fitting jacket, trimmed with white. Black buttons buttoned down to his waste, where a black leather belt was fashioned around his waste, a silver-buckle holding it in place. Over his black well-fitted breaches, the jacket hung open. Black boots were pulled up over his shins, both with two buckles that tightened them around his ankle and leg, assuring that he did not roll his ankles in them. Two swords were strapped behind his right shoulder, and the red sleeves only reached the elbow, the rest of his arm covered in the black material of his battle-suit, right down to the tips of his fingers.

A smile grew on his face, as he reached up to his neck and pulled up his collar, the buckle hanging freely, harmlessly under his chin. Running the gloved hand through his messy right hair, his icy blue eyes scanned the crowd, his smile growing into a full-blown grin. He would have to give them a good show. His icy gaze fell upon the opposite hallway, and he resisted the urge to open his Kontoueiseki, wanting to see his opponent just as the crowd did.

There sylux was sitting in the locker room on the bench looking towards the ground in a daze but he was thinking of the upcoming events to take place and how intense and thrilling it would be. It would only be his second time entering the Battle arena and he knew that the crowd did not know him yet and he was sure that he would be going into this as the underdog in this duel and as he thought of that he could only wait till the match. Then as he heard the crowd roar louder then before he knew his opponent had made his way to the ring, so with that he stood and cracked his neck one more time before turning to the locker and shutting it. He walked out the locker room towards the hallway that would lead out to the arena.

He came walking down the dark hallway with only a few lights above that were flickering on and off. He knew that many have walked this same path before him as he approached the door towards the arena. He stopped only for a few moments as he took in the crowds roar and there screaming for blood.

"They want blood, then lets give them blood!"

Sylux spoke this to himself as he blinked and took in a deep breathe as he took his first step out into the ring and the crowd just broke loose with excitement as it ment that soon they would start the duel and the same could be set to sylux as he entered the ring in black assassin robes with his lightsaber on his belt and his Lightclaws hidden in his sleeves. There wasn't much else to describe he was a pale medium built man who stood in a confident stance and with a face that showed no worries, excitment, or anger which made him a difficult person to read.

And he continued to walk to the ring with his eyes looking straight at his opponent the entire time. He stopped a distance from him as his eyes still did not stray from cinaed as he looked him up and down once but not only eyeing him up but to see what weapons he had visible and wondered if he had any hidden.Sylux was focused on this fight as he tuned the crowd's voice out of his head so it would seem that it was just the two fo them alone. Sylux said nothing as they two stood there, he would wait for the signal to start and then it would begin

When Cinaed saw his opponent, his face lowered, his brow casting a shadow over his icy-blue eyes, and his grin thinning into a small, amused smirk. He recognized this man as one of the Sith. Not just any sith, but the one who had taken Vexas' former place as Saphira Nightshade's apprentice. The last Cinaed had heard of him, he had an unfortunate run-in with Valec. He was sure Valec would have killed this man, and assumed that there must be something quite special about the man, to still be alive. Good. I like special, he thought to himself as his smirk widened, his pearl-like teeth glinting for just a moment in the light.

"Sylux, correct?" He asked lowly. It seemed impossible that he could have been heard from across the arena, especially over the crowd, which roared with anticipation, willing the bloodshed to begin. But there was something between them now, a connection that would not be ended until this fight was over, and probably, one of their lives with it. "I had presumed you dead, but here you stand before me." Cinaed stood straight, and gave a traditional Echani bow, one that locked him to this battle by his honour, grabbing hold of it and tying his life to that of Sylux. "There's only one rule in this particular arena," Cinaed said, before rising from his bow.

And when he did rise, his eyes could be seen again. His Kontoueiseki unlocked, although so far away, his eyes could be seen like two glaring, kaleidoscopic suns, casting rays of lashing blues and violets in all directions. "When two warriors enter, only one may leave alive." And with those final words, it was clear that this battle had begun. Cinaed sunk into a ready stance, not yet taking grasp of any of his weaponry. His eyes scanned Sylux quickly, and within a fraction of a second, he had localized all important pressure-points, midi-chlorian gate-ways, organs, and weapons.

And then, as quickly as he had finished analyzing his opponent, he moved in. He decided that he would refrain from using the more complicated functions of his Bankakyou Kontoueiseki, he wanted to give the audience a good show. Reaching over his right shoulder with both hands, he pulled free both of the Force-imbued swords, and his presence in the force flared, blossoming like a deadly rose through the arena.

Vice.

Virtue.

His movement was so gracefull, so fluid. His incredible speed was not touched by the Force, his physical conditioning and Echani training propelled him effortlessly across the Arena. As he neared closer to his opponent, he activated his Raikou Ryouki, a spark of electricity flashing across his barely visible chest. It would not be enough to make use of yet, he built it up slowly as to not drain too much Force energy.

Suddenly, he was within reach, planting his right foot about three feet infront of Sylux and using the momentum to whip the blade of his sword toward's Sylux' shoulder. The blade glided cleanly through the air, seeming to be nothing more than illusionally altered light, but to believe this would cost Sylux his life. Cinaed knew that Sylux did not survive an encounter with Lord Valec by not questioning the realm of possibility.

Sylux stood confident as Cinaed spoke and as he spoke he mention that he had thought that Sylux had died, which ment that he had heard the news of the encounter with Valec, and while yes he was almost dead sylux he managed to live threw sheer will power but that was ages ago in sylux's eyes and now he was much stronger and wiser then his former self and for a opponent like Cinaed he would need all of his skills that he had for this match would be a deadly battle and knowing that Cinaeds had been training by Vexas he knew that his advantage would be his speed and that is where he would have to focus on.

"Yes, I am Sylux and you must be Cinaed, I see you havehave heard things of my past..I am humbled and I know of your travels as well Cinaed and lets just say I am looking forward to this match very, much."

He gave a respectful bow as Cinaed did and he watched him carefully, never knowing when he would make his move he stared him down not giving away any emotion to how he was feelign of this match and the thrill that he was getting from it even though the battle had yet to even begin

"Well then if that is the rules let the best man win."

As he spoke he reached with his right arm towards the left side of his belt and detached his lightsaber as he held it in his right hand and ignited the Crimson Blade and as he moved into a normal Ataru Stance with the lightsaber close to his chest and he held his left hand in front of him as he shifted his body to the side. Sylux if giving the right chance knew that he could end this if his opponent made the wrong move but he would wait as he again kepted his eyes on Cinaed not over estimating him one bit but in truth even knowing nthat did not bother him he was after all a Sith and they had a reputation to never show fear or doubt in ones own abilites, sylux would give this his all and would not falter or give up..till the death he would fight.

All of a sudden he felt something and before you knew it Cinaed had made his move and even with out the force he was quick but sylux himself had felt this move and as he remained in his stance as he did not even move a inch until Cinaed had come into range and as he saw his blade come coming for his left shoulder, Sylux easily brought his lightsaber in a forward slash just enough time to block the attack and thought it was quick it lacked the power to make a diffrence so all Sylux did after the slash was take a step back and bring his blade back as well then move it into a forward lunge attack and if dodged which ever way Cin would move he would follow it up with a side slash and shifting his body along with it so as Cin moved away from it Sylux would repostion himself and be ready for another attack.

ooc- sry for the wait cin..ive been having some serious brain farts..but ihope with will suffice

Cinaed was not surprised at all to see that his attack had been blocked. But there was one crucial difference between his weapons and those of Sylux. It changed the way Cinaed would fight this battle entirely; his swords had weight. This could be used to his advantage, as his attacks could ravagingly fall upon his opponent, without be deflected as easily as a lightsaber. So, the main outcome of this one feature, so simplistic in its nature, would be the extra fraction of a second it took for Sylux to deflect Cinaed's attack. Such a small amount of time, yet it would build up through Cinaed's use of acrobatically savage attacks, and even with only that extra fraction of a second, an Echani such as himself could do so much.

Pulling his sword back into a defensive position, though it could quiockly turn into an aggressive position, he took a second to read what Sylux's next move would be, and was quite surprised to see it. So much so that he almost did not believe the insight his Kontoueiseki granted him. However, he still kept the information at handy, and it did come in use, as Sylux performed the foreseen attack. After taking a step back, Sylux lunged back in, thrusting his saber toward's Cinaed's abdomen. However, by the time Sylux' foot was planted, Cinaed made a quick sidestep to the right.

As he stepped, he made two more move spontaneously. Slamming his left-held sword, Virtue, down upon the blade of the lightsaber, he would use its weight to his advantage, effectively knocking the lightsaber far enough away to leave Sylux wide open. And at the same time, he reversed the sword in his right hand to a reverse-grip, and pushed it forward, aiming for the pommel to slam straight into Sylux's face, most likely leaving a bad bruise, and dazing him a little bit, but nothing else. Cinaed made quick foot-work backwards to put distance between them if, however whether he would be able to would depend on whether or not Sylux' attack was in order to psyche him out for something else. Cinaed doubted this theory though. Lunges were dangerous moves to attempt.

Sylux just saw as he side stepped before his blade even lunge foward which was not all shocking he knew that Cin's speed was amazing and his Echani blood made him even more of a challange, but he was caught off gaurd but his next move as with his left hand slammed down on knocking it away and then with Cin's other hand he was pretty much punched in the face and as this did not knock him out all you could see was a small trail of blood drip from his nose and as he closed his eyes and took a few steps back and shook his head and as his eyes flared yellow from the anger but he refrained from letting it loose as he took control of it to make hims tronger faster then before.

He looked at cin take a few steps back and as he ignited his Light-claw in his left hand which was covered by his Sleevs was now visible as the two meter long blade's ignited as Sylux regained stability and with his right hand he twirled the blade a few times and gave a smirk towards cin. It was not even a few seconds after Cin's move and this time it was Sylux who lowerd his weight a little bit then in a split second used force speed and almost seemed that he vanished and reappeared almost infront of Cin with increble speed and he made a right slash at his shoulder and as soon as his slash was half way down Sylux follwed it that with his with his light-claw coming towards Cin's chest.

It was a fierce move and knowing Cin's abilitiy to react he would know that this was alot quicker then before as Sylux used his anger to drive his attacks and also knowing that he would block the attacks sylux would be prepaired to back away or step forwards just depding on the moves that Cin's makes.

Cinaed was almost surprised by the sudden enhancement of speed and power. To be honest, he expected his opponent to just get angry and let it out, which would have been the end of the battle right there. But it was a well-known ability within the sith, that which converts rage into power. Practiced by the Marauders of old, it made them fierce opponents. But quite frankly, it was not something Cinaed made use of. Most likely because he cut himself off from what we call emotions, filtering through the many facades he had created, to make sure they did not trace back to him. Cinaed kept a cool demeanor about him, and with the activation of the lightclaw, he quirked a single eyebrow. "I hadn't considered that the weapon would be that long... But it makes sense now." He said, squintng his eyes as he inspected the weapon.

"Yes, I should have noticed it before... I hadn't calculated for this. No matter." Cinaed twirled the sword in his right hand back to a normal grip, and sheathed both swords over his right shoulder. "I'll just change my style to suit yours," he said as he snapped his arms out to the side. A distinct sliding sound was heard. It would become apparent that Cinaed's forearms had just accumulated around them a distinct weight. What this was would remain to be seen for now, though. The speed of his arms would be slowed, just slightly, but his attacks would accumulate more momentum, making his punches even more deadly.

He made no move to draw any weapons, instead lowering into a stance. Spreading his feet apart, he lowered his right hand, and the electricity that surrounded him accumulated at the tips of his straightened fingers. He condensed the energy so much that it became only a small ball of light. A distinct sound was heard, which lead to the naming of this technique, it was like a dangerous pit of snakes, waiting for Sylux, their next victem, to fall upon them. He tilted his head toward's Sylux, timing the moment at which Sylux would make his move with the Kontoueiseki. Sylux suddenly moved in, but with his Kontoueiseki, Cinaed easily tracked him as if they were moving in slow-motion. "Hauringu Kobura!" He shouted fiercely. And so, using his own short-lived burst of Force-Speed, he merely stepped forward. However, it happened so quickly that all there was between his previous space and his new space was a spark of electricity.

His left hand flew up, and he grabbed the right wrist of his opponent, completely stopping the saber. Before the lightclaw had a chance to even swing, Cinaed pushed his right hand forward, to the chest of his opponent, and when it reached the proximity of Sylux's chest, it would explode forward, blasting Sylux in a barage of hot fire-like elextricity. When this happened, the thunderclap roared through the entire stadium, leaving no ear undeafened by its power.

**Warning: Gore in content.

Most likely, there was no chance for any cry of agony, no time for Sylux to realize what was about to happen to him, and if he had, his howl would have gone unnoticed, layered under the thunderous roar of Cinaed's attack, filling the stadium, resonating through the stone walls, and shaking the very foundations like an earthquake. All that remained of the Echani's opponent was an arm, held distinctly in the air. Cinaed did not move for a moment, and when he did, he dropped the arm, the lightclaw still humming, as if suggesting the arm were still alive. Reaching forward with the force, Cinaed turned it off, and the thought vanished with the light of the two blades.

Blood trickled out of the arm, as if it had accepted that it was dead. The blood trickled free, puddling as if it tried to reach out to join the rest of the blood. Infact, the entire stadium infront of Cinaed had been splattered in Sylux' blood. Small, burnt pieces of flesh joined the rubble that made home on the stadium floor, like small pebbles fleshing through dirt. When the crowd finally realized what had happened, there applause returned tenfold, and Cinaed turned around, leaving the arena.

Your last post is denied, and the battle is either on hold or has become null and void. Sylux has made it well known that he wa leaving for basic military training, exempting him from the 2 week rule. As such, your second post in which you killed him is invalid.

I'm afraid I had forgotten about his departure for basic training. However, he left far after my attacking post, and I had made it clear to him that I was going to do this on multiple occasions, weeks before he had left.
