His boots were soundless as Cinaed stepped onto the rooftop of the tall building. One of those skyscrapers towered only by the Red Dawns headquarters on Nar Shadaa. The view was no more spectacular than usual - And endless sea of lights and crime, in every direction. Home, Cinaed thought with what was almost a smile, but not quite. Closing his eyes, Cinaed took in a deep breath, stopping his walk, for just a moment. The air entered his lungs easily. The air on this moon was not particularly fresh, but Cinaed had grown acustomed to it. Continuing on, he made his way across the rooftop, and turned back to see the door leading from the staircase. Any moment now, his opponent should be arriving. His eyes squinted, no light was provided from the moonless sky. His fists clenched in anticipation, all he wanted right now was to see what he would be up against this time. |

Kain's footsteps echoed off of the walls as he slowly ascended the stairs, step by step. He had come here for a fight, and through the door that was now three steps away lay his oppenent. They were to fight on the roof, on just one of the thousands of tall buildings that were on Nar Shadaa. Kain pushed open the door after he had walked the last three steps to the door that was on the last flight of stairs. He pushed open the door and he immediately caught sight of a figure that was silently waiting for him at the other end of the rooftop. Are you ready? Kain asked, looking forward to the answer he knew he was going to receive. |

"I was just about to ask you the same thing," Cinaed replied simply, his face a clean slate of any emotion. And immediately, the way he moved seemed so simple, but it was so graceful. He made it look easy. He did not await anything further from his opponent, only performing a quick, flourishing three sixty reminiscent of a martial art named Tai Chi. As he moved his body, the force mirrored him, engulfing him in currents of its endless power before subjecting itself to his use. And use it he did, thrusting both hands forward in a powerfull Force Push that would literally put Kain through the door he had just emerged through. So simple a move to play, it was more of a test, really. Cinaed wondered if Kain would pass. Keeping his percing blue eyes locked onto those of his opponent, Cinaed tilted his head questioningly. |

Cinaed thrusted both of his hands forward, and a powerful force push emitted from them. Kain felt the small rippled through the force as the current pushed towards him. He knew that Cinaed was trying to pull something, and he was going to stand up to it, Kain wasn't going to back down, not even from this. Kain raised his hands and prepared himself for the blast. He let the force flow through him, echoing throughout his body and his mind, making him its own. Kain had now fully delved into the force and he raised his hands and emitted a force push of his own, much weaker, but it was his only chance. Kain felt the ensuing blast as the two channels of the force met in mid air, his own emmiton was forced back to him while Cinaed's was forced to him. Kain flew back into the doorway, hitting the wall and falling to the ground, momentarily dazed by the blast. |

Cinaed stood straight as his opponent fell before him. A novice, he thought with what could almost be classified as a smile. I might as well have some fun, Cinaed thought to himself amusingly as he lifted his right hand up. Closing his long fingers into a tight, powerfull fist, his force energy wrapped around the door which Kain had just hit. Pulling his fist back, it seemed to meet resistance as the hinges on the door began to pull free. With a final jerk, it ripped free. "Stay sharp, padawan," Cinaed said, calling the man by his rank. Cinaed took a moment to try and recall if they still used that title, shrugging the thought aside as he suddenly pulled his hand down, slamming the door flat against his opponent. "Come on, don't bore me or I'll have to amuse myself," which spelled ill-fate for the Jedi hopeful. |

Kain felt the door smash into him as he lay on the hard ground of the rooftop. He quickly turned around and grabbed the falling door with the force and threw it off of the roof. Kain stood up, wobbled on his feet a bit, but soon regained his balance. He drew his double bladed lightsaber and ignited the purple blades. He once again used the force to propel himself forwards towards Cinaed, he raised his lightsaber into a predictable attack from, but at the last moment, disconnected the two sabers, and attack from two fronts. The right saber glided towards his left arm and the left saber towards his face. |

At this sudden action, Cinaed did little more than widen his eyes. It was not quite surprising that the man had gotten up and threw away the door, just unexpected. Cinaed expected a few more hits before his opponent had done something such as this. This was, however, A pleasant revelation, Cinaed noted with a slight smirk. Stepping back, Cinaed looked the man up and down while he bursted forth. A spark of electricity flared around Cinaed's left hand, yet he seemed to do little else. It was not at all surprising when the lightsaber became two, Cinaed merely blinked at this discovery, but the way his opponent attacked had produced large inconsistencies in his style. If he kept this up, Cinaed would have no problem winning this battle. And he exemplified this fact by not drawing any weapons of his own, only lowering his head preparedly. When the attack came, Cinaed gracefully stepped to his right, and reached his left hand out to grab the left wrist of his opponent. A spark of electricity transfered from Cinaed's index and middle finger into the center of Kain's wrist, right into a pressure point as Cinaed pressed down on it, at the same time using Kain's own lightsaber to block the lightsaber in Kain's right hand. "I warned you about boring me," Cinaed said darkly. And with that he stepped forward with his left foot, thrusting the very same arm forward with another powerful telekinetic push through the force. He followed up with a quick backstep. Cinaed had closed off a gate in Kain's wrist which would hinder the use of force through his hand. Not by too much, but it would become very apparent. And by the same token, he had also damaged the ability to move the wrist. It was only temporary, a few minutes at best, and very easy to get rid of with even the slightest training in the force. It was not as useful as if Cinaed had closed off every gate in his arm, or even just the one in his elbow, but it would have its effects. |

Kain flew backwards after the telekinetic push that had flown from Cinaed met him full force, knocking both of his lightsabers from his grasp. Kain threw his own weight backwards with the center of the push, pulling a backflip, using only his left hand to steady himself. But as he did, his left hand would not respond accordingly and he fell flat on his face, scraping it harshly along the rooftop floor. Kain slowly stood up, rubbing his face with his right hand and slowly gazing at his left hand. Both of his lightsabers lay naught but ten feet away from him. Kain let the force wrap around him, and reached out with both of his hands, both focusing on different lightsabers which lay at seperate ends of the rooftop. Kain twitched both of his hands, bringing the lightsaber at the right side of the rooftop up to meet the one at the left. But Kain was astounded to see that the saber at the left end of the rooftop never came up to meet the other. The first saber flew across the rooftop and over the edge of the rooftop, coming to rest at a narrow ledge twenty feet below. Kain sighed, racking his brain, trying to figure out what might of happened. Then he looked at Cinaed, then felt a slight tingle in his left wrist, moving down to his left hand. Kain knew it had something to do with this infidel, and he knew he didn't have much time to react. Kain drew his eagle hilted lightsaber and ignited the blazing green blade, he swung it twice and made eye contact with Cinaed. His eye's glinting in dangerous boredom, Cinaed's gaze pierced right through Kain sending a chill down his spine. Kain assumed his Ataru stance and rushed towards Cinaed, falling into the force and letting it guide him. He lifted his lightsaber and swung towards Cinaed's head as he came within range. |

Cinaed nearly smiled again, when he saw his opponent come back for more. It seemed to Cinaed as though he had just pushed the man into a state of mind that would hopefully help him against the young Echani. Well, we shall see. Cinaed knew the Ataru style, fourth form of the Jedi blade. He did not use it directly, but used certain elements of its acrobatic finesse when he fought with his swords. He had studied it, and knew all-to-well it's weakness. Cinaed's right hand went to his side, and with a flourish he drew one of his own lightsabers. He did not ignite it though. When the lightsaber of his opponent closed in, Cinaed ducked below the blade, and sidestepped to the left. The horizontal slash would have cut Cinaed from left ear to right were he not too quick. Instead, Cinaed's meneuver not only avoided the lightsaber, but used the moment um of the swing to leave his opponent completely open. Cinaed's fist came in a devastating left hook towards the jaw of Kain's scraped face. |

Kain knew that when Cinaed dodged his attack that he would be thrown off balance due to the amount of his own weight he had put behind the attack. Instead of fighting against his own weight, Kain let it drive him past Cinaed. He fell to the ground, twisting so he would land on his back just narrowly avoiding a left hook from Cinaed. Kain twisted his lightsaber in his right hand, considering that his left hand wasn't working well enough to pull off any kind of maneuver. Kain thrust the lightsaber up towards the chest of Cinaed, hoping to at least give the man a scratch, something to at least taunt him to draw his blade. Kain needed to know that he was at least worthy of a decent fight from this man. Kain watched as his lightsaber plunged for the man's chest, everything seeming like it was in slow motion for this delicate moment. |

Cinaed barely reacted when Kain dove by him. This was a dangerous move, with a powerful right knee, Cinaed could have put Kain unconscious easily, and since he turned around it could have even snapped his spinal column. However, Cinaed was holding out for a better oppertunity. Cinaed had already been standing by the parapet of the building, and Kain had only dived towards it, so when Kain had landed on his back, Cinaed reacted. Not even giving Kain the chance to get up, Cinaed waved his hand, sending a telekinetic wave of force energy under the man in a push, and attempt to cause Kain to literally roll off the rooftop. It was almost as if Cinaed had waved him good bye. |

Kain saw Cinaed react when Kain fell the ground of the rooftop. But not in the way Kain had expected, in a physical sense. Cinaed waved his hand in a greeting or departing gesture. Kain felt a wave of force energy immediately work its way beneath him and lift him up slightly off of the ground and rolling him towards the edge of the roof. Kain scrambled frantically to get a hand hold on something but to no avail on the smooth and solid rooftop. Kain rolled off the side of the rooftop and fell for twenty feet, trying his hardest to get a grip on something. And finally Kain grabbed onto the ledge, the same one that rested his lightsaber that had fallen off the roof not long ago. Kain looked from left to right along the ledge frantically until he saw his lightsaber resting along the ledge naught but ten feet to the right. Kain knew what he had to do. |

Cinaed watched with his Kontouiseki as Kain fell over the ledge. The Force reacted to everything, and Cinaed could see these reactions clearly, so he knew that Kain had managed to escape from falling to his death. It was time to finish the grim deed. The young Echani's body sparked with electricity as he leapt over the ledge, but before he began to fall, the electricity caught the wall, of the building, giving Cinaed what could be called a controlled cling. Cinaed glided down the side of the building, what appeared to be infinite bolts of lightning connecting the back of his body to the of electricity connecting his back, shoulders, legs, and outstretched hands to the building. Cinaed landed lightly on the very ledge Kain held onto, standing right above the younger Jedi's hands. The electricity now focused around his hand, a blinding ball of light accumulating at the tip of his fingers. This was his most dangerous attack in preparation. "Give me your surrender, or face whatever meets the various pieces of your body on the ground of Nar Shadaa," Cinaed told the man coldly, looking down upon him from the ledge. It was a generous offer, Cinaed did not often give his opponent a chance to give up. |
