Albrecht d'Eyre III...what had he been thinking.

His identity had run its course. He'd finally gotten himself into something that he wouldn't be able to get himself out of. Now he was Albert, alone in a deserted tomb waiting to be found. The ceiling was tall and covered with luminous crystals. They shed light down into the cavern, filling the tomb with a pale evening glow. Albert brushed his hand across the stone coffin in front of him. He wondered how common these tombs were on this planet...

Then he sensed someone nearby. He turned around to see Baal standing under the gigantic entry-arch. Albert smiled.

"Baal? Here to fight then?" Albert set his cane down on the stone coffin and took out one of his two lightsabers. He readied himself, moving into a defensive stance. Baal was like a thunderbolt, Albert could sense it. He waited for the Echani to make his move.

EDIT: Haw, inconsistencies.

Baal looked across at his once ally and felt what might have been sadness if Baal felt such things. "You know why im doing this. You knew when you started all this. Baal drew his saber from under his cloak and the two yellow blades hissed out from the handle. Baal threw off his cloak and stood in an offencive stance ready to kill the man he had come to feel was like a brother.

Baal held the blades handle so tight his knuckles turned white and he rushed forward using the force to speed his moments. Swing his blade at hip level Baal made the first attack.

Albert slouched with regret for a moment after Baal's words, but he instantly snapped back to attention.

"Yes, I knew," he muttered.

He could see the anger in Baal's movements. The charge was what Albert had been waiting for though. At Baal's swing he sped his movements and leaped away in the direction that the blade had been swung. He landed on his good leg and hesitated for another second. Then he lit his saber and held it close in a standard Soresu position.

Baal walked forward till he was a arms length away from Noskram. Looking into his eyes hatred and sadness shown in Baals own silver eyes. "This ends here your treachery, your betrayal, and...." Baal then bent his knees and stood in the opening stance of form IV "your life."

Jumping into the air and spinning with his light saber so he was a ball of death Baal came down towards Noskram. when he was within striking distance he opened up and with all his might swung down towards his friends head.

Albert watched Baal closely as he spun through the air, watching for a pattern. It would be a foolish move to block. If the first blade didn't catch him, the second would on his own parry. Albert raised his lightsaber as if to parry, then rolled forward and to his right. When he finished, he turned left and thrust out as if to spear a falling bear. Hopefully it would catch Baal in the back, but not kill him.

"Heh, I knew from the beginning I'd regret making you angry," Albert said.

Using force fly Baal was able to increase his speed just enough that he was out of reach of the attack before it hit him. Landing in a roll Baal came to his feet spun and using the force to increase his speed made another rushing charge at Noskram.

Once he was once again with in striking distance Baal swung his blade in a diagonal slash from right to left. Fury built up with in Baal powering his movements. Froth flew from his lips and he eyes flared with pure hatred and power. "Stand and fight me you coward! Run that's all you do its all you have ever done!"

Anger radiated from Baal like heat from a fire. His bale skin was tinted red and the veins bulged under his skin.

Albert stood hastily when he saw that his thrust had missed its mark. He'd held back too much, and hadn't thought enough. He didn't have much time to think about it though. Baal rounded on him in an instant, a bolt of fury.

Albert knew that if he didn't get his head on straight, he would die here. There was no more time for inner conflict, no more time for regrets or for future plans.

Albert sped his movements as quickly as he could and met Baal's blade. Pushing off of this, Albert used the force to numb the pain in his leg temporarily and spin around Baal's attack. Now standing at Baal's right side, he swung diagonally downward, left to right, in one fluid motion from his maneuver.

"You're right, Baal. But I'm done running. I'll face my fate here and now!"

[ooc]Sorry for the delay. Hope this is ok.[/ooc]

[ooc] Noskram im letting it go because its a Battle Arena topic but normally if you go longer then three days in a fight the attacks lands. I'm telling you now so if you get in a real fight you don't get killed. That would suck. [/ooc]

Baal watched as Noskram got to the side of his attack. Strange i never remember Noskram being able to move like that? Baal though to him self.

Bringing up the other one of his blades Baal blocked the attack. Ah the beauty of a double bladed lightsaber. Then using the added force he had with two hands on the handle against Noskram's one Baal threw Noskram's arm up.

Then bringing down the hilt of his lightsaber Baal used it to punch Noskram in the face and in the same fluid motion to turn and try to stab Noskram in the gut.

"You know you cant beat me Noskram. I was always the better fighter."

[ooc]Thanks Baal, just got a little busy for a while. I'll try not to let it happen again[/ooc]

The move was powerful, but not exactly unbalancing. Albert knew his saber had been pushed upwards, and he instinctively began to bring it back within his range of control, taking a step backwards on his reinforced leg. Before he could manage it, though, he was punched in the face. And that was unbalancing. Surprised, Albert lost the grip on his right leg and pain returned to it. He stumbled, and fell onto his back- just under Baal's thrust. Albert quickly knocked the lightsaber away, then deactivated his lightsaber and rolled to his right. Jumping onto his left leg, he activated his lightsaber again and stood in his defensive stance, a grin on his face.

"Maybe so, but it seems my weaknesses have saved me this time."

Albert kept his saber level, but he mentally prepared for another diagonal strike. Baal was not usually repetitive in his technique, but Albert hoped against hope that his emotions would get the best of him in this situation. With just the right opening, the duel could end very favorably for him, he thought.

Baal was tired of these games. Regaining his control of his emotions Baal charged towards Noskram and swung his lightsaber that was held in his right hand from left to right aiming to removing he foes head.

Then half way though his strike Baal turned his blades off. Knowing that Noskram would keep playing the defensive game Baal used the momentum of his swing Baal brought his left hand around and threw a punch trying to hit his foes jaw.

After the attack Baal jumps back and gets into the opening stance of Baal's form of Form VII. Light saber in his right hand held behind him left hand free and legs slightly bent.

"I don't need to use your weakness to destroy you."

Albert held his saber ready to parry, but the attack never came. Instead, Baal's lightsaber suddenly switched off and Albert was left with no center to pivot around. He saw the saber turn off and began to react to it, but it was too late. Baal's punch threw him off balance, hitting him in the jaw and staggering him backwards. He watched as Baal leaped away and cursed under his breath. He coughed and adjusted his jaw, still a little stunned.

"Baal, how can we negotiate if I can't even talk?" he chuckled. Baal took a new stance, Form VII. It was his back-up, his ace in the hole. Albert wouldn't do him the satisfaction of charging...yet. He stood tall and took his Soresu position. He was breathing heavy. The blows inflicted upon him and the stress of using the Force had weakened his stamina. He caught his breath as he thought of a plan. He would play defensive, lock himself air-tight. This wasn't how Soresu was supposed to work, he thought with a grim smile. He was supposed to be tiring his opponent, not himself. He would regain his energy, then form a new counter-attack strategy.
