"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.."

It all started in 150 ABY with a simple declaration by the Galactic Alliance regarding the ownership of an Outer Rim planet. It is believed that a dark force user controlled both factions, the Alliance and the Empire, but this has yet to be proven. What is known is that nothing could repair the damage that ensued from the war. This was what was to be expected by the two powers, seeing as how only a lose armistice had been signed between them. However, what was unexpected was the eruption of smaller, but still formidable, para-military and galactic conglomerates that decided to join in the war. They declared war on each other, on the Alliance, and on the Empire. The Empire was able to defeat most of the para-military groups during their numerous planetary campaigns and they began to gain ground in the war. No one was safe in galaxy.

They all came at once, but struck from many places. Every galactic power was undermined by the Dark Side, or so it is said. The truth is that the blame has never been properly placed, but the 'Dark Side Conspiracy' was still created as a scapegoat. It said that in some way the war had been a machination of evil, an event procured by the dark side of the Force. During the final years of the war the Jedi were cast out from the Galactic Alliance and went into hiding, while the Sith were hunted down by all. At the same time all of the major powers became drained of their will and resources. No longer could they continue to fight, and as such the war just ceased, with more victories by the Empire following soon after. There was no treaty, no pact to signify the end and the Alliance continues its fall into complete eradication.

This is the state that the galaxy has declined from in the last twenty standard years. Conflict still arises on all planets. The once prosperous planets of the past have become festering pits of disease, poverty and crime, with the last being the major player. Crime lords have started to flourish in the wake of destruction but the Empire is watching them closely, using them as a means to accomplish their own agenda. They do not care for the people of the Galaxy and look only to take advantage of the poor and become richer in some fashion. The Galactic Alliance cannot stop all of the crime and thus have begun hiring mercenaries in order to fight their battles. There are not enough weapons to go around, but this is not peace, this is but an interlude between the wars. There was no end and there will be no end.

There is a new tyrannical Galactic Empire looking to restore its dominance over the galaxy, tightening its grip on every star system possible, slowly crushing what is left of the Galactic Alliance. The Alliance believes it can maintain the democratic organization of its member systems but its hold is slowly slipping away from the ideals held to be democratic and true. More and more systems are falling under the might of this new Galactic Empire and there is no telling how the hands of the galactic powers will be played. A great and fierce power is becoming to make itself known in the form of an honorable warrior people who make up the collective clans of the Mandalorians. They are brave warriors and train endlessly for battle, always prepared for combat. This is because they know that a clash will soon come between the powers of the galaxy; they know conflict will always be present.

The fate of the powerful Lords of the Sith is unknown, although rumors have been circulating concerning the consolidation of their strength and the rebuilding of their Order. The rumors are not paid much attention as the majority of the galaxy believes the Sith were completely eradicated from the face of the universe. The Sith have indeed become few, but their resolve has never been stronger. They seek to reclaim the power and influence which they once held. The Force is something many people no longer believe in and what is left of those who do still believe lies broken and scattered. What was left of the once formidable Jedi Order was torn apart in their foolish escapades to restore a sense of peace and prosperity to a galaxy falling into darkness. There now only stands one man who professes himself as a member of the Jedi Order, and the determination he possesses to restore the honor and virtue of the Jedi is nearly unmatched. He might be a fool but for all of the hopeless ideals he holds so dear, he is a worthy adversary. The Jedi Order will be rebuilt and they will fall.

It is a dark and dangerous time for the galaxy, with a tyrannical Galactic Empire looking to reclaim its dreadful glory, the warrior culture of the Mandalorian clans preparing for war on the sidelines of the growing conflict between the Empire and the failing Galactic Alliance, waiting for the time to reclaim their own past glory, and the criminals of the Black Sun and the rest of the underworld looking to profit off of all powers, reeling in credits from the spoils of the war to come.

Will the Galactic Empire achieve complete dominance over the galaxy once again and rule with an iron fist? Will the Galactic Alliance hold its ground against the might of tyranny and keep democracy alive? Will the dark Lords of the Sith reclaim their malevolent position amongst the galaxy and induce a reign of terror? Will the dogmatic Jedi Order restore peace and prosperity to the worlds that have forgotten hope? Will the Mandalorians triumph over everyone and bring upon a seemingly never-ending onslaught of destruction?

Only the strong can decide in a galaxy where souls are forged in blood and stone.
