[align=center]![]() In the early days of 54 ABY, the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances has all but duplicated the influence and power of the Old Republic, spanning the entire galaxy and operating with the aid of a New Jedi Order. The peace they have brought to the galaxy has lasted for almost ten years following the fall of Darth Caedus and his New Order, but the tides are turning and other powers are rising to challenge the authority of the new galactic power. The Lost Tribe of the Sith has begun causing trouble in the Unknown regions, attacking and conquering a number of worlds formerly belonging to the powerful and organized Chiss Ascendancy. The Chiss, denied a helping hand from the Federation, have responded by expanding into Federation space and exploiting many conquered worlds for the profits they need to continue holding the increas- ingly well-organized Sith assaults from crippling their union. Meanwhile, the newly-birthed group of organized crime called the Outlaws’ Syn- dicate has begun feuding with an odd target: the Mando’ade Clans. Eager to est- ablish a complete hold on the piracy and mercenary trades formerly dominated by the militant Mandalorian warriors, the Outlaws have begun a two-way guerilla war with the Mandal- orians, with both sides attempted to out-pirate and out-raid the other without losing their monetary lifeline of mercenary work.
