During a tumultuous night when the heavens broke loose their wrath upon the land, splitting a continent asunder that had long been undiscovered, new formations of islands were created. However pieces began to float until they hit other uninhabited islands that were anchored so that they would not move. This in turn caused the eruption of volcanoes and earthquakes as one land pressed against another.

The remainder of the continent, about the size of Australia remains in a hidden sector among one of the great Oceans shrouded in mist. A place where humans have not yet unearthed the beauty and splendor as the land continues to drift around the Oceans, though slowly it is never quite in the position one might expect it to be so that it remains undiscovered and no more than a figment of an explorers imagination.

Creatures of Nature know that it is real, that it exists and some have died trying to get there, though there have been those who were able to land upon the seemingly mythological land and have descendants there. There was however some humans long thought lost when they crashed or sank that did wind up there, but lived as they had to like their ancient nomadic ancestors and so did not spoil the wondrous lost continent.

Up until twenty-six years ago, seven generations of wolves ago this part of Acelle had gone untouched by the paws of wolves. This is only a small portion of the continent of Acelle. The first wolves to set foot upon this portion of the continent was one Savage Kringle and his mate, Angel Heart Kringle. Since then more and more wolves have come from across the continent (and sometimes from distant shores pertaining to the other habitable continents) and set up home here.
