Welcome to the Aeiou.

We are a community with almost no rules, and a very non-serious mindset. Shitposting is not an infraction of the rules here. In fact, it is the norm.

We are mostly active on our Discord, but larger projects such as the Absolute Magnitude tabletop game are discussed here on the forums.

Nedben Prime, Casually Mad

I came up with this while running.

A world where movement is...very difficult, restrained to an elite few.

Someone fairly normal for this stuff (an adventurer) falls from a higher plane with a faint white glowfire aura, allowing him to retain movement in an otherwise dead world.

He is found and welcomed by Lampades, a purple-aura'd woman with the general jane-from-nav lady with the long white hair in treepose aesthetic, who is capable of moving (somewhat) by her lamps, scampering burning-bacteriophage-torch-things, carrying her at the collective speed of second-fastest in the world. She wants to help, but is considered a traitor by the other great movers of the world.

Rampage-Oss (referred to as Vro) is a flaming furnace-fire-elemental-monster thing living in a great factory-vault-furnace, who moves with great exertion and surprisingly slowly by a wheelchair-like furnace assemblage, and his arms.

Ice (referred to as Enya) is a blue-and-white lovers-duo entity who lives in an icy mountain cave and moves the fastest through fans of different types.

The Tree (referred to as Kaweip) is the guardian of the world, who moves through rolling acorns pulling him about like a chariot very slowly.

The person joins with her to try to becalm/fight the other movers to see what happens.

The other NPCs of the world are divided into a strict caste system. The lowest caste are basic structures which harvest energy for the higher-ups (candles, heaters, windmills, and bushes respectively), followed by wavers (lampposts, flamethrowers, fins, and trees respectively), minimovers (lamps, wheelchair-furnaces, manta-penguins, and ents respectively), and the great movers themselves.

Lampades has been declared a traitor because her candles and lampposts can move freely, while the others' structures and wavers do not leave the spots they are forged on.

discuss

might be an evil lightning god idk
