Deep in the narrator closets somewhere is the Switchroom.

The Switchroom is, for lack of better words, a world generator and item creator. Simply flip the control panels for reality around a bit, and with a pomf a new world is written or called for or found. Or use the Intuitive Interface, whatever.

You've found it. What do?

Find an "Insert Item compartment" and insert a minidrone treat.
Then mess with all the switches.

A minidrone flops out and punches the GENERATE WORLD button.

A new door has been added to the Switchroom, labeled "The Ultimate Daedra v1". Sounds suspicious. Would you like to enter?

The minidrone presses the Enable Snails button.

You now have The Ultimate Daedra v2.

Atop a gigantic snail, you behold Vvardenfell. Lord Vivec is doing battle with a really big daedra.

Your snails slime the Ultimate Daedra.

It keeps going. Vivec looks at you funny for a moment but then resumes fighting because fighting.

Almalexia and Sotha Sil arrive and join in fighting the big daedra thingy.

The minidrone says it can't do that.

The snail carrying the door snails away from the cantons of Vivec as another world-rending blast wracks the air and the Tribunal spam magic deathrays.

Oh joy. A switchroom. Time to experiment a little, you know, for science.
First, I need a control world. Create a world with nothing in it, just to see what it would look like. (but for the love of god, don't go in it. It's probably just a vacuum. Look at it through some monitor or something, switchrooms tend to have them. In the event that it's just an endless white plane of nothingness, then maybe take a peek inside.)

You create "a world with nothing in it.", and it's labeled as such. However, the door is locked by a touchscreen padlock labeled NARRATIVE ABSTRACTION BARRIER ENGAGED.

You will have to specify what kind of nothing you want.

Mia Utopia appears, and tries to enter The Switchroom. Unfortunately, she is a few hundred times too big to enter the doorway, so she gets bored and heads in the opposite direction. Meaning that absolutely nothing effectively happens.

Mia is now in the Old Narrator Box, specifically a Cthulhu Container Room connected to the Switchroom. Some rubble and assorted abstractions lie fallow around the place, presumably leftovers from one of the many times existence was annihilated. A few cthulhus lie in stasis pods but many of them broke out ages ago.

Because of literal magic the room is sufficiently high and sufficiently wide and long to allow her to roam around without hitting anything important to the plot.

Turn around.
Look behind myself.
See Mia.
Panic.
Create a world called "panic world"
Put another switchroom inside panic world.
Enter panic world.
Set my spawn point inside panic world.
Make sure nobody other than me can enter panic world.
Then wait for awhile.

Mia breaks the stasis pods and devours a few Cthulhus, before going to the console and trying to spawn in a few hundred bottles of alcohol.

Leave snail world, and create a portable switch machine, and carry it with me.

You notice Mia and her Cthulhu-eating, and panic accordingly even though she can't fit through the door and it's a rather sturdy doorframe.

You create Panic World. It's mostly a chaotic frenzy that can be described as personless panicking incarnate, but there is a saferoomy island of stability around the door, which is in another switchroom, the one you ordered.

Due to logical constraint errors your spawnpoint has been set to the obligatory safe platform and associated housing/sustenance unit in Panic World Switchroom, complete with utilities, support tools, supplies, and network-aligned computer terminal with internet.

Outside a thoroughly protective airlock door however is Panic World itself. Through a visual monitor series hovering on the Panic World Switchroom walls, you can see a few other switchroom panic-room bubbles with the ability to relink to the network, and pink cloudy foam swirls which are basically abstract panic swooshing about like a gas giant's atmosphere.

Your ability to control entry is limited due to low-kaian status, but you do make the switchroom door only accept you and those you let in.

You settle in your shiny new housing unit and wait.

-NARRATIVE BIFURCATION-

Mia goes to the nearest console (a wall-terminal for the containment room) and orders excessive amounts of booze via the network. Seriously, it's just raining booze bottles in there and she's drinking the booze out of them.

Teo!avatar remains in Panic World.

Numbers!Avatar leaves the Ultimate Daedra v2 world and gets himself a portable switch machine. It's not well-defined right now so it could do anything even remotely switchy, like switch between relogic and dislogic (you are currently in dislogic for reference purposes) or flip nearby lightswitches or just be a harmless ball of switches.

Narrative logic hurts to look at sometimes.
