Edit: (On Best RP title, the point will generally go to the character who posted the RP. If the title was someone else's suggestion, please note that in RP notes. Edit it in, I am going to.)

Three weeks left in the deadline today. Please ignore the old links to the AIL archive website, which is gone. I'll update you all if I find a new home for it.

In the meantime, we're doing pretty well on roleplaying. Keep writing, everyone! I've talked to the voter and we've decided to add four more Bonus Point awards, worth a point each!

The voter wrote up three of them, so I'll just quote him after I write up the last award.

Note: These points are worth one point each. They don't effect rankings. They are going to be awarded for each mission, as long as roleplaying is strong enough, and there is suitable competition for each award, as determined by the voter's sole discretion. Ergo, he retains the right to award a title or not at his discretion. (Note I can still change these at my discretion.)

Note that points do affect the Season Leaderboard.

Most humorous moment (1 point): Whatever strikes the voter as humorous, makes him laugh, ext. Silly moment, puns are good. Funny exchange, anything that makes him laugh, really.

Here's the other three in the voter's own words.

Quote:

Best Rp Title (1 Point): Basically whatever title has that specially little something. It could be a silly pun, an awesome amount of alliteration, or a vivid metaphor. No matter what it is, it sticks with you.

Best Action Set Piece (1 Point): This award is for who creates the best moment of action. It could be a battle, escaping from a collapsing building, the most intense fishing season ever, etc. All that matters is it gets the adrenaline pumping.

Best Use of A NPC (1 Point): This point is for who takes an NPC and utilizes them to their fullest. Often, though not required, their presence has a impact on the RP that is unique to them and their personality. Otherwise, they leave a lasting impression, even if they didn't affect the story all that much and were mostly for mood.

Thank you Ichiro for these. Remember, there could be a winner in each category for each of the two quests.

Now let's recap the other awards points, so it's all in one place, courtesy of the mission notice. Edited for formatting/ context.

Best plot twist/ most dramatic moment (3 points): Basically, this is a moment in a co-write or solo where something big happens. The plot twist. Something that adds a new twist or changes the story a bit. We want to encourage people to try new things. We haven't pushed this kind of thing often, but we want people to start being more ambitious with it. We'll try to work out any story kinks as the story moves along, so don't worry if that happens. Like I said, players should have the freedom to add their own twists in on a game like this.

Best plot progression piece (3 points)- This will go to the best co-write or solo which progresses the plot through any use. It's based on the entire roleplay. This includes plot twists, though we're mostly looking for overall advancement of a plot. Taking a previous twist, or a part of the original story, and exploring it. Moving the story forward.

Best solo (2 points): This is for any roleplay that only uses player characters (or non player characters) from a single handler, even if it includes multiple PC's from the same player, even in unrelated parts of the story. This also includes stories with only a player's character(s) and NPC's or writing / editing from other handlers.

Best Co-write (2 points): This, by contrast, is a piece with at least one player character each from two or more writers. The stories don't have to intercept to quality (although that and chemistry obviously help).
