Hey, good to see you here. Approved.

It would be smart to move a puppet nation here, though.

Criminal Code
Article 2
(5) Anyone who knowingly:
  • conceals previous regional affiliations on their citizenship application;

  • conceals previous aliases used in other regions or in Ainur when applying for citizenship
is guilty of the offense of Lying on a Citizenship Application under this law and liable to a punishment at judicial discretion not exceeding an six (6) month ban.
Lucky we're under a State of Emergency.

It's okay, the Criminal Code is not in force because we're in a State of Emergency. :cookie:

Probably not actually, I think all regular laws remain in force, unless and until the High King declares them not to be in force.

Essentially a State of Emergency is prospective; it means that the ordinary legislative procedure is overridden once it is declared, but it doesn't mean that any valid laws passed cease to be operative (otherwise the High King would have to re-issue all laws previously passed).

Constitution IV
Section I - Article 4
a.) The High King shall rule solely -but observed by the Citizen's Assembly- by any and all Royal Decrees
"Solely by any and all Royal Decrees", which means the King must issue Royal Decrees that declare the continuity of laws he wishes to preserve. He tacitly "Decree'd" the continuity of the Assembly (since he did not issue a Royal Decree after the SoE was declared but expressed his wish for the Assembly to continue, and did not halt its existence during the SoE), but not the continuity of anything else.

It's debateable, but still, do we really want to have no criminal law in the interim? In particular, do we want someone to brazenly conceal (surprisingly not an oxymoron in this case...) their identity?
