Every Man Has His Tale:
Back in the seventies Joseph, aged 22 lost both parents when they were killed during an armed robbery in the garage they owned down in Brooklyn. After that, Joseph joined the forces, spending only five years there before being removed for what was deemed "Unnecessary Violence" towards his superior officer.

Joseph Being Dismissed: 1982

In 1983 Joseph returned to America and opened up a small tools shop behind the old garage in Brooklyn, it didn't make too much, so come 1984 Joseph settled down. Selling off the business and marrying his beautiful wife Eileen, everything was finally going right in Joseph's life. It wasn't too long until Eileen fell pregnant, due to have a little girl. She was going be called Lola and was due on the 19th July 1985. It was on Lola's fourteenth birthday it all went wrong. The Virus had begun to spread throughout the city, and infected Eileen.

Joseph, Eileen and Lola on Lola's Fourteenth Birthday.

Now, on that very same night. When Eileen had became infected, she'd became forced to attack her own daughter Lola, unfortunately Lola and everybody else at the party was either mascaraed or infected within a few hours.

Joseph, who had been forced to leave early to run a small errand came back in disarray to find his daughter and wife both dead, determined to find the cause of this blood hungry and life destroying virus, Joey battled his way back home, stocked locked and prepared for war.

Journal:
Date:02-August-1999

I don't really know what I'm supposing to be writing, or even what I'm thinking.
It's been a week since the first infection. I'm still alive, struggling with just
water and very little food, no survivors found. Heading to Manhatten.

I found a couple supplies in a general store, there was a few of these infected
there, but nothing major, pretty easy to handle. Once you learn what you're
doing, it's just like shooting swamp rats. This is like a living nightmare, It's an
odd feeling, being alone, knowing I'm alone, I kinda like it. Still no survivors.
Roughly 2 days from Manhatten.

Journal:
Date:15-August-1999

Been a while since my last entrance, there is something else out there, something
that I haven't seen before. It moved so fast, seemed to follow me like I was it's
prey, like it was in fact Hunting me. I've came across two of these species now,
maybe it's another alteration of the virus. It set me off course for a while but
i've managed to rest up in a church for a few days, back on the road to Manhatten
tomorrow. No Survivors, losing hope. 4 Days from Manhatten.

Journal:
Date:19-August-1999

Good thing I got here when I did, the so called resistance got wiped out as I arrived.
I've been left with two survivors, I don't know their names yet, but ones a young
girl. The other is a man, he seems good with a gun, don't know if I can trust him.
As he's private military, fucking scum. Anyway we're heading to Jersey now, see
if we can find anything else there.
2 Survivors found, 2 days from Jersey.
