Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Two couples survive a violent car accident in the middle of the desert only to battle the elements and eachother for over a week in 100+ degree temperatures, a lack of food and water, injuries, hallucinations, and more.

Robby bought this from Blockbuster for a buck over a week ago and we finally watched it a couple nights ago. I really liked it...for the most part. Some poor decision making courtesy of everyone except for Lacey Chabert's character, as well as a few overdramatic moments brought it down for me, BUT the setting, overall tone of the film, pacing (despite a second act that dragged at times), and the characters and acting boosted it back up. Lacey did a fantastic job here. I haven't seen much of her, but this was definitely the most mature of the four or five performances I've seen of hers. It was nice seeing her play someone who felt like an actual human being instead of just a stereotype. Mercedes McNab also deserves a LOT of credit here. She started off as a typical fun bimbo and ended up being one of the most vulnerable and sympathetic of the four, giving one of the best performances as well. There wasn't a lot in the way of violence or intensity, but there were a few "ACK" moments, with a certain 'operation', piss drinking (ew), and blood drinking (!!!) being toward the top of the list. I liked it but Im not sure if it'll be very rewatchable at all. 7/10

I'd give it a watch, but I'm not sure about the piss/blood drinking.

I'll probably watch it since it has Mercedes McNab and Lacey Chabert (love)

Good<3. I wonder if Repo would like this one.

Don't expect TOO much from it since it's not amazing or anything - just better than it seems like it'd be. I'd still take Open Water over it though.
