"An American journalist on assignment in the Australian outback encounters a man-eating crocodile." Normally, I wouldn't recommend a "creature-feature," but I really enjoyed rogue. The pacing is great, the acting is pretty good and when they show the crocodile it looks...great! I believe the budget was about $27 million. Well 80% of that must have went to animating the beast. I groaned as well when I heard "giant crocodile," but check it out. |

I liked it. A little bit disappointing after Wolf Creek but still quite fun. |

What didnt you like about it, Dead? I didnt like the fact they made it out to be factual. It's only loosely based on Milat and Falconio, or you could say simply inspired by. Absolutely love Jarratt, though. He's such a crazy bastard. Edited by Hallorann, May 6 2013, 09:43 PM.

Well it's not that I didn't like it, it was good. It just wasn't what everyone hyped it up to be. From what I heard it was scary and gruesome, etc, etc. But when I watched it I was kinda like "what's the big deal about this one?" Nothing made it...stand out. To me personally anyway. |

I actually agree with you on that. Wasnt as good as I was hoping but I enjoyed it. I'm really excited about 2, though. My brother was supposed to be DoP for that but had to pull out due to a clash, but he said from what he saw in pre production it's going to be really good. |

I really liked this aside from the fact that too many people survived and it completely ABANDONED 2/3rds of the characters in the last act. |

Neither am I, though the plot looks good. I'll have to think about this one. |

I completely forgot that Sam Worthington is in it, and he is not even top billed. I thought it was very good the crocodile effects were really good compared to some. |

I was really hoping for a fun bloodbath with a lot of deaths and instead got a pretty intense but VERY flawed flick. My main complaints: far too many people lived and they flat out abandoned like 90% of the cast less than an hour in. |

Couldve sworn we had a thread for this. =U But yeah, it had WAY too many survivors. Some scenes were pretty intense though and I loved the first hour or so. I just hate that the third act ditched pretty much everyone else. |
