Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated.

The title is weird but I slightly like the plot. I love the idea how he has a connection with the ghost and the murder story.

It was alright, kind of confusing but it was interesting to watch.

I've been entertaining the idea of giving this a go because it's on Netflix.

It's not long, but it's gotten pretty bad reviews across the board.

Sub 5 on IMDB and it has terrible ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

lol, same can be said about pretty much every Horror film that wasn't made after 1980 and isn't unanimously seen as a 'perfect classic' though. ;)

Such a strange film. Some sections are moody, atmospheric and dreamlike while others are so goofy they don't seem to be part of the same film. I liked it, though.

Yikes, not sure I like the sound of a super uneven tone. (wary)

I also felt like the twist at the end ripped off (caution, may spoil one or the other film)
