I think of sweatshop but I know it's different. I'd give this a try.

So I watched this tonight, and the good news? Overall I did like it, but it wasnt as good as it should have been.....like, at all. The story was simple and perfect, but it held back. The director seemed to not like showing any of the women being murdered, and all the on screen kills were men. Hmmm, a little odd. I did like the two bimbo characters, and the gay couple, but other than them, everyone was a bit forgettable. Like I said, I did enjoy it overall, but how hard is it to make a slasher flick? I didnt even mind that every character was a slasher stereotype cranked up to 100%, but be consistent with the murders atleast. If this had not "shy'ed" away from the female kill scenes, it would have been alot better, in my opinion. Had every death scene been as brutal as some of them, it would have gotten several more points from me, cause lets face it, a movie like this is only about the kills.

I did love how some of the hot guys had their shirts off for alot of the movie though :P

LOL@slashers (and horror in general) that are afraid to kill off their female characters (or show the deaths onscreen). Nine times out of ten it doesn't feel like 'hey look, girl power"; instead it feels like "We don't want to upset anyone so lets tiptoe around this..." (wary)

So I watched it a couple nights ago and yeah, it...really wasn't THAT great. However, it wasn't all that bad either. It was just sort of average I guess. This had some pretty good kills, with my favorite being the

Some of the others were really weak and even though there was a big gender unbalance with the onscreen kills, a couple of the female characters DID have onscreen deaths. :P Also Jared, I think the nerd-ish 'lesbian' girl wasn't actually a lesbian. I just think she was somewhat tomboyish so a lot of the idiots in the movie ASSUMED she was a lesbian XD. She always seemed to have a think for the other dude (and no, I cant remember any names).

This had a TON of sex. Almost too much. For like thirty minutes it was almost nonstop and it was a tad distracting. It also shied away from showing any male nudity, cutting away from what were probably nice asses at the last moment. (un) Big pet peeve of mine. However, there were tits galore so Michele-my-bell should enjoy this. (coffee)

It also had really odd pacing and it didn't look all that great either. The setting was nice, the ending was rushed, and there were too many survivors. Seriously, why'd they let

And I HATED the two jock douchebags and the one derpy blonde chick (the other blonde, who went all dominatrix was okay though).

Like I said, not bad but not too good.

5/10 quality. 6/10 entertainment (maybe 7, not sure)

I guess I just assumed she was, since everyone else was a 'token' something lol.

Overall, this was quite a surprising and enjoyable slasher effort that really gets a lot right. One of it's better elements throughout this is the prime location set-up here to take advantage of the intended target here of the paintball game in the abandoned hospital where he's secretly living. The winding corridors, endless darkened rooms split off from the main entrances, plenty of power-tools left lying around to make for handy weaponry and the type of dirty, grimy atmosphere gained from years of neglect and disuse that supplies this perfectly well with a great location and really makes the most of it. That also occurs with the rather frantic and enjoyable stalking scenes that are quite enjoyable if just a tad cliched of the use of running victims being unable to escape from the shambling killer but there's more in quantity that certainly make for an overall more enjoyable offering. Along with the locations and stalking here, the plentiful gore and bountiful nudity also supply this with a lot to like and really seem to help overlook the fact that the running time is so short yet never once overstays it's welcome or descends into boredom by constantly providing all of those features together at given intervals to continually creep further along and generally come across as quite positive. That said, there's still a few minor areas here that do hold this one down, mostly the two aforementioned tactics in its short running time and the cliched stalking scenes but also from the fact that it manages to once again feature such a wide-ranging group of people that they're hardly the sort of friends that would hang out with each other in real-life and it becomes upsetting to think they would be. It really casts a strong cloud over the film, as well as the fact of this one really doesn't do much interesting with its' killer beyond the silent, hulking brute. The ties to the disorder is fine and actually well-handled, but it tends to go off on several needless tangents throughout here which are just plain confusing and don't really offer much to the film beyond their confusing nature. These do hold it back somewhat, though what's on display is often enough to hold it off and become quite enjoyable.
Do illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?

Some people are like slinkies: not good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when one falls down the stairs.
