Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

This shit’s gonna go viral.

ScreenDaily was the first to report on V/H/S Viral, which will complete our V/H/S trilogy.

We’re excited to reveal that the latest installment of the franchise features segments directed by Marcel Sarmiento (Deadgirl, the incredible The ABCs of Death segment “D Is for Dogfight”) ), Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes, Extraterrestrial), Gregg Bishop (The Other Side, Dance of the Dead), Todd Lincoln (The Apparition), Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution, Spring).

“V/H/S Viral focuses on fame-obsessed teens who unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation.“

Justin Welborn and Emmy Argo are among the cast.

Marcel Sarmimento, TJ Cimfel, Dave White, Gregg Bishop, Nacho Vigalondo, Justin Benson, Aaron Moorehead and Lincoln wrote the screenplays.

Epic Pictures Group will commence sales in Cannes. Epic sold the V/H/S franchise in Berlin 2012 following a suitably controversial tee-up in Sundance that year when several audience members fainted during the world premiere.

The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily>Safe Haven>Second Honeymoon>A Ride in the Park>Phase 1 Clinical>Tuesday the 17th>V/H/S/2 Frame>Amateur Night>Slumber Party Alien Abduction>10/31/98>V/H/S Frame

Is Emily the poor chick who was on video with her "boyfriend?"
Yes. That one was surprisingly effective.
Those are the two I liked as well.

Was there one on there that involved a bunch of guys exorcising a demon out of some girl or flat out killing her? They were in an attic and the protagonists thought it was supposed to be a haunted house or something. Was that on V/H/S or some other compilation I've seen?

Cant say I'm that impressed by the trailer but it doesn't look BAD, at least. Then again, the second one didn't look bad either and...

I think it's more difficult to judge an anthology film by the trailer, because it's so much easier to put an exciting trailer together when compared to a regular film. They can take moments from the climax of each of the individual shorts, which can make a movie that's only kind of decent seem great.

Definitely true, ha. Thank God I wont be seeing the trailer again and chances are I'll probably forget most of it. After all, it probably showed quite a few shots from the ending of each segment, like you said. (wary) I hope this goes back to being a solid two hours long like the first film, instead of just 90-odd minutes like the second.

I can't wait for this I just hope it is still gonna be multi-story with a variety because that is what I love about V/H/S films I was shocked how open it was with V/H/S 2 compare with first one with Zombies, Aliens, Mythology Creatures but it still works I'm very curious how this end up and new TRAILER LOOK AMAZING WATCH IT! I'm so excited

I quite like the VHS movies, Safehaven and Slumber Party was the best ones for me in VHS2.

Unfortunately because the trailers for both movies for me are so awesome, you can be pretty sure that loads of the good scenes are in em.

Looking forward to the 3rd one.

I wish this was coming out sooner than October. I'm not all that desperate to see it. I just want Bloody Disgusting to shut up about it as soon as possible.
