Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

The military's attempt to shoot down an orbiting satellite unleashes a space-borne epidemic on a remote, small town. Deputy Max Brody and his girlfriend Brooke must battle their way through an army of infected townsfolk and soldiers as they struggle to save themselves and their loved ones from a horrible, early death. When cannibalism is contagious, will even the strong survive?

LolNo. =U

Watched this on Netflix a few nights ago and it really wasn't GOOD but it wasn't the unbearably bad hunk of garbage I expected it to be. I wanted to like it more than I did though. This had two or three decent characters, a yawnworthy love story, but it also had quite a few pretty great kills, a surprise or two in the death order and some VERY bloody scenes. Sure, the effects aren't top notch but I'm sure this was extremely low budget so I forgive that. I don't recall seeing much CGI either, aside from the satellite shots and things like that. When it came to the gore, I'm pretty sure it was almost all practical so that's a plus. There's really not much else to say about this. It was a fun little movie that I don't regret watching but thanks to the indistinct characters, a couple bad effects and performances, and a final twenty minutes that got too damn melodramatic, I don't see myself watching it again anytime soon.

6/10 quality. 7/10 entertainment.
