An unknown man makes his way into a quiet neighborhood bringing nothing but torture and pain along side him. The police are on the hunt for someone with no identity, the only evidence of his existence is the mess he leaves behind. When he enters the home of Roy and Jessica, they have no idea what's in store for them. As the story unravels you find that there may be more motive behind the mans actions than either of them could ever imagine.

One I've definitely not heard of. Interesting plot, though.

O_O This sounds awesome as Hell! Lol, is it bad that I got 'One Night In October' vibes from the mask and the first bit of the description? (cool)

Well I bought it at the new movie store that opened up like five minutes away. Hopefully it's as good as it sounds. If I don't watch it tonight, I'll watch it tomorrow.

Surpriingly, this ended up being quite the treat. There's not TOO much to say since at the end of the day its a 'couple being tortured alongside a mostly good plot' film.
For what seems to be a really low budget film, this had REALLY good effects. The ways the killer 'messed with' his victims got to me...especially the foot. That wound looked horrifying as hell! Some cute guys, decent but not amazing characters, a killer who wasn't too talkative (thank God!) and had a great look (that mask was pretty awesome but clashed with the killer's...baldness lol) and a simple but nice location made this worth watching. The fact that it was mostly in the garage of a house in a suburban neighborhood FULL of people who were oblivious to what was happening just next door (ooh, Just Next Door may have been a good title come to think of it) made it somewhat unsettling. While not upsetting or disturbing, it had a few great, cringeworthy bits (THE FUCKING FOOT AGAIN!) and I was totally shocked by the timing of two deaths in particular, especially how mean those deaths were. Great stuff!! The pace dragged but no harm done there since it had a small cast, tried to be as story driven as the average thriller, and had an under-80-minutes runtime. So despite its sluggish moments it was never flat out boring.

The story wasn't new at all but was still pretty interesting.

So yeah, I liked it for the most part. Now give us the sequel; my body is ready!

6/10 quality. 7/10 entertainment.
