When the staff inside a renovated film studio finds a co-worker dead one morning, the pieces of a forty year puzzle add up to an angry ghost who has let the last person step inside her house. But will they ever get out alive?

The trailer looks very gory. It's spoilery too.

No it's not out yet. No release date.

I just tried googling this movie - all it says, or seems to say, that a release date is in 2013. I can't find out any more then that.

The line between film-making and reality blurs when a resentful ghost takes over a film production office... In a Dallas film studio the actors and crew of a horror film become the victims of their own bloody horror story. One by one, they are killed off by a vengeful ghost who seems to be re-enacting some of the scariest moments in the history of film. As the director and his pretty actresses begin to piece together a forty year old puzzle, it may be too late for them all. The key to their freedom is held by a creepy old woman who reveals a murder mystery with a shocking and sinister twist.

I went with the date that Amazon had listed. Apparently, it's been on the shelf for a few years, but it was only released this week.

The cast is good, and the plot seems promising.

Yeah, the first reviews I've seen seem to be pretty negative. It does sound like it could be fun bad, instead of just bad.

I watched this. It wasn't really any good. It's watchable, but that's mostly because of Billy Zane, who has a few funny lines. I'm having a hard time thinking of anything to say about it. I liked the credit sequence at the beginning.

Is this worth buying, because I keep seeing it, and I get tempted.

I'd definitely rent it over buying it or wait until it's gone down in price. It'll probably be selling for only a few dollars pretty quickly. I don't think it's something you'd want to watch more than once.

I'm not surprised it isn't that great. I rather wait till I can stream it if it's not that great.

I know it has shown up on some streaming sites, so that's probably a good idea. It isn't terrible, but I can't say all that much to recommend it.

I'd watch this just for Danielle, Lacey and Matt.

So it took almost two years but I finally watched it a few days ago and...as I assumed, I was unimpressed.

The opening credits were really great to the point of misleading me into maybe I misjudged this (the DVD cover is HORRIBLE). The first dialogue scene was priceless. "Who the fuck builds a floor like that, huh?!" (lol) The first death was decent enough. The group of characters were alright I guess. I was never really bored by their interactions with eachother - which isn't to say this was a totally worthy film since while the deaths (especially a really nice double whammy involving a fan, eyes, and spikes) were decent and the characters were pretty witty and funny...the story was really dull and mostly crappy. They totally threw a Charles Manson subplot in that was entirely unnecessary.

Thelma's intro was corny as hell with the bad lightning/thunder and her repeatedly turning her head dramatically for no reason. Billy and Lacey did especially well and I loved how bitchy they were to eachother. I forgot most of the characters' names so I just thought of them as their actors (except Girl #4 and Jim-Carrey-Smile-Guy who showed up with Danielle's character). :P The 'film within the film' footage and weird (possible?) flashbacks were crap. Billy Zane's douchiness didn't feel 100% forced like a lot of 'mean director' characters so that's a plus, at least.

"You're high as a kite, you're a fucking steroid monkey boy from Hell!!"

This did that crappy drag-away thing and one of the 'deaths', despite being surrounded by good ones, was pretty awful. I didn't get why Danielle Harris had been casted in this until

. A lot of the effects were bad, especially at the end. I really hated that this almost reached slasher film territory but then chickened out by having

Lame.

5/10 quality, 5.5-6/10 entertainment. *Shrug*
