The film stars Catalina Sandino Moreno (MAGIC MAGIC) as “ambitious young real estate agent Leigh, who’s asked to sell a house with a checkered past. There, she crosses paths with a disturbed girl whom she learns is the runaway daughter of the couple selling the property. When Leigh tries to intervene and help her, she becomes entangled with a supernatural force that soon pulls Leigh’s artist sister Vera (GLEE’s Naya Rivera) into its web — and has sinister plans for both of them.”

I'll probably be watching this eventually. I liked The Pact. Catalina Sandino Moreno is great, and Naya Rivera was my favorite part of Glee.

The Pact<3. I may or may not watch the trailer but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.

Much like the pact this plays out pretty much the same way, I think if I remember so, a house , something happened there , a room , a box , all plays out with some jumps and scares,
The supernatural force however is different much like a lost demon looking for a new home ,didn't really get what it wanted but it made a big song and dance about it doing so ,which is what kept me watching it and not turning it off , it's like this type movie could just run on and on and on and it does but it's does end , but u know there's more to come .
With the advent of the pact 2 u can see it's relation to this movie as it has potential much like the pact but both fall flat and don't capitalise on the edginess there trying to put out there , a shame I think not , I just think more of the same pointless supernatural poop!
A waste of my time 4/10

This film has two good things going for it. First, the three lead actresses all do a very good job. Time is split pretty equally between them, and their performances were all strong enough for each segment to also be equally interesting. Second, there are some good directing decisions. There's a few very effective moments. Nicholas McCarthy has a good eye.

Everything else isn't very good. I could go as far as to say that the script is bad. If the film's events had been shown chronologically, I think it probably would have been very boring. The movie just spins its wheels for the majority of its running time. There are several different themes that don't amount to much of anything and are a bit too simple to be interesting. It's just sort of shallow overall.

And I can live with shallowness in a movie. :P I still might give this a watch, but with lowered expectations now that it seems people aren't caring for it.

What a boring movie. Me and Marvin went to the free screening and not many people were there. We met the director and the editor of fangoria was talking to him how this movie takes chances and he was just kissing his ass. I have to agree with Vanessa and the other dude. I felt the same way. It was boring, shallow and felt like it wasn't going anywhere. I did not like the ending at all. The acting was good though but that's the only thing I can say about it.

Yeah, for a movie with three different protagonists, there just wasn't all that much going on.

I did like The Pact II more than I liked this. They have different flaws, but I'd watch The Pact II again before I'd watch this.

Is something go to happen?
Nope, just character development.

Oh man, something's happeni- Nope, just more character development.

WHOA WHO THE HELL WAS THa- oh just more character development.

I mean, in terms of acting, the cast held it down. But the movie as a whole was just uneventful, you would think you would connect with characters with all the development going on, but no.

Yikes. Yeah that's a bad sign. I'm all for tons of character development as long as the characters stir up the emotions they're meant to and as long as SOME THINGS interesting happens.

This isn't getting a DVD or blu-ray release until December 16th. It feels like the VOD release was ages ago.
