A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry, and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.

Dude, I really want to read the book now! Would you mind maybe letting us borrow it, before or after you read it? You know we'll be good about sending it back. I think it would be a really bad ass read. (Plus AJ and I are pretty fast readers)
:D

The book seems to be pretty cool though. But then again, I love zombies, hehe ^_^

They just announced that Matt Smith was cast, which I'm looking forward to. The rest of the cast is Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote and Douglas Booth.

It starts shooting very soon.

I can't wait for this to come out now. I loved the book and can't wait to see how they did with it.

I'm trying to wait until I see it to get too judgey, but I don't like it much either. I am probably harsher on castings of Darcy and Lizzy than I am for most roles, though.

My friends are absolute nuts for P&P, so I'm using that as a bargaining chip for them to come watch this with me.

But I know next to nothing about P&P (tried to watch one of the movies once and I just got way too bored to really continue it.) I'm fairly confident that this will manage to keep my interest active enough to like this. I did really enjoy Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (both book and movie)

Yikes! Oh well, I was not expecting it to come out now anyway. I've been seeing the trailers in theaters and it looks better than expected.

I can't really blame them for moving it again. February is unusually busy this year. This way their main competition will be a Coen Brothers' movie. The 12th has Deadpool, Zoolander 2, and How to be Single. I don't know if either are going wide, but the 19th has Shut In and Viral. The Witch is on the 26th.

I've never seen or read anything to do with Jane Austen in my life, but this looks like it could be a lot of fun.

I tried to watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and I enjoyed what I saw, but there was a massive storm that blacked out the whole mall, the theater included. And just as the third act was getting rolling, too. Damn it.

Still, what I saw of that movie was enough to get me interested in this.

^ God forbid, I HOPE this is better than Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter...

This looks so fun, though. This looks like one of those films that's MEANT to be seen in a packed theater with a bunch of people just chilling together.
