Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

VIDEOCLUB is a 90s-set horror-comedy about “18 year-old, sexually inexperienced video store employee Miguel Jiménez (Pedro Campos). Together with his best friend, Mauro (Samuel González), Miguel makes homemade films and his debut movie, Victims of Madness, causes problems with his parents (Daniel Alcaíno and Berta Lasala) for its excessive level of violence and exploitation of his younger sister, Tati (Francisca Diaz). It’s the early years of the Chilean transition to democracy and everything that represents freedom or desire is still seen with suspicion.”

“One hot summer, Michael falls for Daniela (Luciana Echeverría), a mysterious member of the video club. Willing to do anything to
conquer her heart, he encounters a small obstacle that will change his plans: the apocalypse. Following an outbreak of violence plaguing the neighborhood, Miguel turns to his last refuge, the neighborhood video club.”
