Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

I'm not sure how on point this is, but Angela's body double in the first movie (Archie Liberace) was a college friend of Robert Hiltzik.

Also, for the life of me I can't remember her name, but one of the actresses from the opening sequence at the lake was declared dead on IMDB for some time until she made herself known at a convention that I think was a reunion for the original cast.

Edit: Her name is Carol Robinson and she played Dolores, the water skiier.

Young Peter in the first was played by Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino (of Jersey Shore)'s older brother, Frank.

The second and third films were filmed back to back. They have the same location, and some props show up in both films.

If I'm not mistaken, the camp site is still there, but partially in ruins.

John Klyza is producing a series of Sleepaway-themed short films for the second and third film's Blu-Ray releases (like Jeff Hayes did with the original films BR release).

And I've heard the actor who played Sean is a preacher now.

I thought it was amazing too. It makes me tempted to see if he has a twitter and ask how he even got involved with the movie.

Oh, and I think Sean's actor is now a preacher and Ally's actress works in the real estate business now.

I'd love if Ally and the Shote sisters' actresses came back for the SC2 Bluray but I'm just expecting crew members and maybe two or three people. If they don't get Pamela Springsteen I'll be devastated though, lol.

Maria from Sleepaway 3 is now a Film/TV Editor. Though she hasn't had any credits since 2010.

I need more Jill Terashita in my life. It's so cool that she did an interview for the official Sleepaway Camp website a few years ago, but she needs to make a comeback.

Someone just shared this on the original SC board over on IMDB, and it's honestly so cool. It contains pictures of deleted scenes and an alternate ending for the movie. It's pretty creepy, and I'm sure if they went with that kind of an ending, it would have gotten them an X rating.
