Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

When a group of ghost hunters investigate the infamous Jericho Manor, they soon realise it's not just ghosts that go bump in the night! As people get murdered, the survivors need to discover who or what's killing them before it's too late.

So this wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. I was going to put this thread in the Cheesy section before I watched this. Now that I've seen it I can safely say it belongs in this section...but that doesn't necessarily mean its a good movie, of course.

It was pretty well shot and I actually liked all the night vision stuff here for once. I expected it to just be some lame ghost movie but nope; it was an almost-slasher (saying 'almost' because the bodycount was tiny and only one or two kills were even a little bit violent). Sadly it was brought down bigtime by a painfully slow pace and not enough kills or actions. There were a couple of creepy scenes but nothing truly hair raising (though if you're looking for pure frights from a movie with 'NITE' in the title you need help).
I liked Tony Todd in this but even more sad than anything else here is the fact that he is given like...six minutes of screentime throughout, and almost all of that is in the damn opening! What a crock. I liked some of the characters and a couple of the guys were cute but this wasn't what it could've (should've) been and I was left a bit disappointed. Still, I don't regret watching it after paying like...1 dollar on the DVD. :P

6/10 quality. 6/10 entertainment.

Same here lol. It makes it look and sound like a really cheap movie in the hood when it's anything but. I say check it out but don't expect anything great. :p
