Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

A werewolf loose in Los Angeles changes the lives of three young adults, who, after being mauled by the beast, learn they must kill their attacker if they hope to change their fate to avoid becoming werewolves too.

I didn't care for this at all, especially the second half of the film. Christina Ricci though<3. I need to rewatch this since it's been like...six years.

Not all that fond of this one, but its been years since I've seen it so maybe it's just in need of a rewatch.

We have a thread for this in the Wes Craven section.

Nah its got a very impressive cast, but its not a good film imo.

Werewolf films, you would be better re-watching The Howling, American Werewolf in London or Ginger Snaps.

I like this movie for the plot twist. It didn't go where I expected, and the "bad guy" was not who I expected. Also, Ms. Ricci can pretty much do no wrong in my eyes. Not to mention Joshua Jackson. And Jesse Eisenberg was perfect in his role. For being a werewolf movie--which isn't my favorite horror monster--it's entertaining to me. I would give it a 7.5/10.

I feel like this is another typical werewolf movie, but I did find it entertaining. It was funny and times, I didnt really find it scary. I didn’t expect the bad guy to be who it was either. I was like oh its him, then I was like its not and then I was like oh it was. It's a good film and entertaining as hell.

I don't know, but I own this and that little tidbit of joy escaped me, too. Only makes me like it more. :D
For me, Christina and Josh sold this. Jesse did a fine job as the "little brother" who knows more than big sister wants to face. I really like this, for a werewolf movie, which I don't normally watch.

Not great, but there is a decent, little popcorn movie here. It could of been A LOT better, but so many problems behind the scenes kind of derailed it. Still, it's not the mess others make it out to be. Decent.
