Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Would you want jill to come back if there's a sequel? Not matter how much I love her, I wouldn't. Seriously, she's dead to me. :((( And it would kill alot of realistic factor if that happened.

HELL
NO

I wouldn't even watch it if she randomly became the ONE killer in the franchise who managed to survive a gunshot, shock to the head, stabbing, glass-table-throw, and more. Seriously. That'd be stupid.

I wouldn't want her to come back either. If they were to reveal that she was the killer at the end, I would be really annoyed.

If they had done the The Following plot with Stu, I would have been totally fine with that, though.

*Jill comes back in Scream 5 and her new motive is that she's pissed at Gale for having a husband since no guy wants her crazy ass*

Might as well do that since her Scream 4 motive ("You had horrible things happen to you, overcame those obstacles and are being seen as an inspiration? WAAAAGH YOU RUINED MY LIFE BY DOING THAT!") was just as random.

That motive was sadistic and amazing. Scream 4 is nothing but amazing,

It was whiny and childish, lol. I doubt sadism was even on the writers' mind.

You forgot that Gale and Dewey will be about to get a divorce again, because they're not allowed to be happily together.

Well it depends on exactly they execute it. I'd love to see what they would come up with. But as far as my own personal opinion- no. I know it's Hollywood and they can find all kinds of way to bring her back because at the end of the day- It's fiction and we can do whatever we want in fiction. That said Jill is dead to me.

If they're LOGICAL about it, it could work...maybe. But I doubt it could work.

And if they randomly make Jill of all people the series' first superhuman people, that will just be embarrassing and I'd be tempted to never rewatch/watch any film in the series AFTER Scream 3 ever again. Seriously.

Scream 5 opening where 4 left off and having Jill rise up for one last scare (maybe killing Judy?) before being put down for good (even though she really should be totally DEAD after all that happened to her in 4) could be a pretty 'new' way to start a Scream film. But that's the most I'd want to see of Jill from here on out.

I mean she was shocked in the head and shot in the chest, yet she still lives? But then again- It's horror. Michael Myers was shot at point blank range in the face in RZH and yet he was in perfect shape come RZH2. Hollywood will always find a way, even if it's not needed in this particular case. :P

I suppose. :P Like I said though, it's a bit late in the series to randomly make a villain superhuman (especially since we've had SEVEN villains so far!) and it's just be lame, awkward, and facepalm-worthy having JILL be the first superhuman/indestructible villain in Scream history. Yuck!

Yeah, they should've just left it with her "getting away with it" on the stretcher if they intended to do a 5th. Imagine a 5th movie revolving around Jill trying to keep her "victim" act going while the media blows the news up, the town becomes a stage for drama, and all the while Jill is keeping one eye over her shoulder as Sidney lies in a coma. Throw in Gale and Dewey of course and maybe a new batch of characters being targeted by a secret "third" killer and you have a somewhat interesting Scream 5. Even if it would've end up being shit- I still would applaud it for trying to do something FRESH for the series.

No. It wouldnt seem right. She's dead. Theres no way its humanly possible to survive all that, and still live. It would be unrealistic. Stu and Kirby could have survived their deaths imo.
