I didn't really think of that. Feels more like Joy Ride with the whole 'people pulling pranks and one the pranked people comes after them' thing.

I really enjoyed that movie , it had decent moments, However it dose borrow a lot from others , it's reminds a lot I (SAW) want you did With bit of SAW , (not the gore way, there only a bit of blood here and there) more like game away . I enjoyed up to very last second scence , ( which they should have ended) I didn't like last scence Good movie 6 out of 10 |

I liked this more than I thought I would but I'm still pretty angry about the ending despite that being one of the only really good ways for it to end. It just Spoiler: click to toggle This is, in some ways, Phone Booth in a cute house with a really slashery third act. If that's the sort of thing you like, you'll probably end up liking this (I did since Phone Booth is one of my favorite movies and slashers are my favorite Horror subgenre). I really liked the leads and how all over the place their friendship was. I ship it too. I didn't really care for any of the secondary characters (not even the girlfriend or the parents) and I felt that they wasted a couple of characters who could've - should've - been more important than they ended up being. What was the point of having the group of asshole friends - the MAIN group - be made up of like four people if only two of them were shown onscreen for more than three minutes? The killer/caller/home-invader is effective enough and I especially liked how calm he was about the whole thing. The way the film was structured was nice too. I was pretty surprised by the ending reveal, mainly because I wasn't expecting them to Spoiler: click to toggle The bodycount ended up being bigger than I thought it would be. It's weird that Sienna Guillory was in this since she only had a couple minutes of screentime. Granted, her character was somewhat important but still. It was a character that could've easily been played by someone who hadn't been in a movie/show before and it still would've been just as effective of a scene. The pacing was fine. I was never bored and it never really dragged. This also did just the right amount to make me happy that, despite the fact that they're both attractive, those main guys aren't people that I'm friends with, lol. They were such pricks and I'm glad that, even though it went overboard, they got a wake up call (ha...hahaha). I am SO happy that the ending wasn't some lame cop-out ending in the form of Spoiler: click to toggle That would've pissed me off so much and would've ruined the film (and you know I'm not usually one to say that an ending totally ruins a film).Overall, it's satisfying and entertaining and has a bit of intelligence sprinkled in (but not so much that I can say this is one of even ten 2017 Horror films that will come to mind when I think of "smart Horror"). 6/10 quality, 8/10 entertainment. |

The group having four people ended up confusing me quite a bit. I don't know if the two that weren't really in the movie actually look similar or not, but they looked similar enough that I got confused because they weren't really showing their faces. I liked this, too. It does a really good job of capturing that teen slasher tone, and it is hard to not enjoy watching a movie that does that right. I am a little concerned about how willingly I accepted that guys that make prank videos that go too far should be murdered. I liked the actors they picked to play the leads. Brady's actor made him more tolerable. I'm used to being indifferent to Gregg Sulkin, but he needs to do more horror movies. He's good at being scared. I ship it, too. Spoiler: click to toggle I am really confused by what an Ed Sheeran song is doing in this. This isn't the kind of movie that you expect to hear big hit songs in. |
