Horror Quote Of The Moment

Welcome to Under The Morgue.

We have sections for each decade of film, from the 1910s onward, as well as sections for 10+ major franchises, close to 50 'smaller' franchises (containing five entries or less), creative writing, independent filmmaking, photography, music, Non-Horror films and TV shows, forum games, and boredom busters, and to top it all off there's an IM shoutbox at the bottom of the page for random chat. From the tame and 'kid sister friendly' to the psychological and mindbending to cheesy splatter flicks to hardcore torture-oriented horror, there's something here for everyone, so why not dive in?

Just trying out this as an idea, here's howbit works. Some one posts "pick a movie for me" and another user picks a horror film. The original poster will watch the movie, duh, and then write a short reaction. I figured it's a good way to spread the word about unseen films or start conversations.

So, pick a movie for me!

Finally finished The Seasoning House. I must say its a pretty rough flick. It's well done and well directed. However, this tends not to be my type of flick. Things are pretty dark (nay, very dark) from the get go. The performances are great especially the leading woman. If you can get beyond the rough subject matter there is a good film there, probably not one to revisit frequently though.

I will pick a film for the next post so post away!
